"I’ve fallen in love with this series, easy to read, short chapters, and full of suspense! I really enjoyed seeing the characters evolve in this book. Lady Monroe, who once seemed like a cold, selfish mistress, might actually have a heart, or whatever a half demon has.🤭 She’s got Terrence’s back now, and I’m glad he’s stopped acting so recklessly. If you’re into strong, dominant FMCs, paranormal elements, mysteries, action, and a little kink, this is a must-read!"

"I was certain I’d be writing a review passionately talking about how much I dislike Lady Monroe, but the epilogue did redeem her a bit. For the first time, I saw a side of her that wasn’t influenced by selfishness or her own motives. This doesn’t mean I love her or she’s off my most disliked FMCs list, but it means she’s no longer number one on the list. I’m curious to see how much she changes/softens toward him in book 3. Terry has also come a long way from who he was in book one. He was reckless, acting first without thoughts, but he’s improved now. He remains selfless, but thankfully, he has a lady to protect him when he gets into dangerous situations. If you like: - paranormal - mystery/thriller - dominant FMC - submissive MMC - bondage (BDSM) Then this is perfect for you. It’s short with short chapters that make it easier to read. I must admit some chapters ended so abruptly, but I guess it’s because the author is keeping to a certain word length. This is the second book in series, so make sure to check out book one first. "
