Chapter 2
Though Mabel had started making a living, she wasn't comfortable with the fact that her two daughters was with her ungrateful husband and for that fact, she decided to go the next day to take them.
It was morning, she prayed and the went ahead to make food for her daughter, took her bath and then set off to take her other children, when she got there, her husband wasn't there, he has already went to work . But her children were well taken care of, so she went inside, took her children's belongings and went, she didn't even bother to call her husband that she had taken her children . So, she started training her children in her own way. Years past but Mabel decided not to marry , she has already started making money so she said there was absolutely no reason for her to remarry.
Days came, months came and years passed , she didn't remarry but she heard her ex husband remarried already and the woman had already given him a son which he had so much desired. But one of her friends came and told her the reason why she should remarry , so she thought about it and decided to remarry. Her friend told her he had a man who is looking for a wife to marry because his wife died and that the man already had 3 children, she said no problem since she, Mabel had children also, so the man came and Mabel liked him, they did what was necessary and the man took her out of the village to a city .
Before she left for the city, she told her step mother to take care of Isabella and Anabella for her and she cannot take all her children so the man won't think something else. So she took only Lola to the city . Lola was five years of age then when she left for the city.
When she got to the city, the man's children welcomed her and Lola and Mabel was happy and comfortable with them. They loved as one and nothing could separate the family together, the man's children respected her, make her comfortable and happy. Whenever the children did something bad and thean wanted to take it out on them, Mabel spoke up for them and for the reason that the man respected her, he would let his children go and the children will be happy and even respected her even more. Lola was quite spoilt, because she went from the village to the city, she couldn't speak as the city do and for that fact, she was always at odds with her siblings, though they liked her but she was a little then and didn't know what she was doing .
Days passed and month passed, and make took in again, the man and his children were very happy and the man then started to buy some many things for Mabel making sure she didn't starve nor stress her self then. When the man was not around, the children took care of her like never before. But something happened, what was that??
