The beginning

My name is Lily. At least, that’s what it used to mean....an ordinary girl, with ordinary dreams, living an ordinary life.

Everything changed the day I saw him.

It wasn’t in real life, not yet. It was on Instagram reels, just another endless scroll on a boring night. Then suddenly, there he was...Jeon Jungkook. His laugh was soft, his eyes bright, his smile like something from another world. I don’t know how to explain it, but in that moment, something in me clicked. Like fate had finally revealed itself.

At first, it was harmless. I replayed that one reel a hundred times. I told myself it was just a silly crush, like everyone else had. But it wasn’t. The more I watched, the more I felt… chosen. As if he was smiling just for me.

I started saving every video, every picture. My phone filled with him..his voice in my ears every night, his face the last thing I saw before I fell asleep. I deleted everything else. I didn’t need friends. I didn’t need family. I only needed him.

Soon, one picture wasn’t enough. I printed them. Covered my walls with his face. My room became ours...our sanctuary. I whispered goodnight to him. I told him my secrets. I imagined his replies.

People would call it obsession. I called it love.

And the best part? He had no idea. Not yet

Jungkook pov:

"My name is Jungkook, and for the past four years, I’ve lived two lives.

The public one...the concerts, the cameras, the fans who scream my name.

And the private one....the quiet nights, the stolen moments I try to keep for myself.

It’s strange how fame feels. People think it makes you untouchable, but really, it strips you bare. Every word I say is recorded. Every smile captured. And sometimes… every mistake replayed a thousand times

Still, I try to live like anyone else. Laugh with my brothers. Tease Jimin until he gets annoyed. Eat ramen at 3 a.m. when I can’t sleep. Post pictures of sunsets and my dog, Bam. Normal things, right?

But lately… something feels different. Off.

A shadow I can’t explain.

Sometimes, when I walk down the street, I swear someone’s watching. My phone buzzes with messages from accounts I don’t remember following. Packages arrive with no sender’s name.

Jimin tells me it’s nothing, just fans being fans. But deep down, I feel it

someone out there doesn’t just admire me.

They’re waiting for me."

Jimin pov:

They say I worry too much. Maybe they’re right. But when it comes to Jungkook, I can’t help it. He’s my little brother, not by blood, but by bond. And bonds like ours—stronger than family—don’t just happen. They’re built.

Lately, though… something’s wrong.

Jungkook smiles like always, laughs too loud when we’re together, acts like nothing bothers him. But I notice the little things. The way his hands shake when he unlocks his phone. The way his eyes dart to the window when he thinks no one’s looking. The way he sleeps less, eats less.

He says it’s fine.

I know it’s not.

The other day, I found a package outside the dorm. No sender. Inside was a photo of Jungkook—taken from far away, without his knowing. I wanted to throw it out, burn it, erase it from existence. But I couldn’t. I kept it, hidden, because I needed proof.

Something is happening.

And I have a bad feeling it won’t stop until it gets to him......
