Introductory
Medusa
When most people hear this name they immediately think of the infamous evil gorgon within ancient Greek mythology whom slane by Perses slicing her head off...
And whilst most are aware of this part of her tale, alot may or may not be aware of what happened leading up to this momment, for you see she wasn't always a gorgon...
For you see, Medsua(was her name even prior to being a gorgon)used to be a human like anyone else, infact she used to he a priestess under the goddess of Athena(goddess of wisdom) and she was beautiful, with golden light hair that would shine in sunlight. So far seems like she seems like a nice person, so why would she be cursed with such a terrible fate?
On a day like another other... medusa beauty had been not only noticed by mortals but by the gods themselves, 1 in particular Poseidon(God of the sea)became infatuated with her to the point... he forced himself onto medusa in the goddess's temple... Enraged by this violation in the temple... Athena unable to punish Posedion descrecrtaing a sacred place, for he being a fellow god and possibly starting an all out war between gods, she took her anger out on Medusa... morphing her into the gorgon we all know today...
