Things that go Bump in the Night

"For me, the story started as a ghost story set in a haunted house but rapidly became so much more. I didn't expect to find myself laughing out loud, spitting my coffee out or just smiling until my jaws ached. Every line almost has some sort of parody of every scary movie out there. I'm serious when I say, if 'Airplane' is your cup of tea, then this story is for you. I don't watch the Blacklist but there is no need to know any character or plot to that show when reading this story. It is a fun-filled, amazingly witty story that had me wondering and guessing and laughing so hard at times, wow...what a read! A real murder mystery plot included! Beyond cool! I've found a new author on Inkitt well worth the read. Daniel Davies is more than witty, he is brilliant at what he does. And that is write engaging stories that entertain, included with swoon-worthy moments reminiscent of the best romance authors around, past and present. If you don't give this guy a try, then you are the one missing out. Lovely, lovely story with memorable characters and unbelievable wit and charm. If I could give more stars, I would!"
