A lot

" I just finished the book about Tiara and her 5 dragons and I absolutely loved that one so I was glad to see that you had more reverse harem, however I will say this one was kind of frustrating because I’m not sure if it was your intention or the fact that your characters just kind of developed a mind of their own. But this one was highly psychological in the sense that these men were different from Tiara’s they didn’t make too much effort to reassure nor make their Love interest feel much secure in their relationship as much as the Ancalogon brothers did. The 4 men took advantage of Ayah’s vulnerability and naivety constantly, it doesn’t help that the people around her constantly disrespected her, her feelings, boundaries, and home constantly reinforcing these men. They continued to manipulate and gaslight her so much throughout the story that I just wanted her to take her break from them for a while discovering herself and making peace with her feelings before deciding to settle down. I mean she literally BROKE and it saddened me that they felt they could just come back and smile and it would be “lol 😂 that was silly” like NO. I’m glad she made herself clear that she needed reassurances and they needed to earn her trust after the whole ordeal but, her friends crossed so many lines to help them, letting them into her home, getting her drunk specifically after she desperately pleaded with them not to on top of them seeing how much it broke her. It kind of just felt like the situation was addressed briefly and then she was expected to just jump back into it without much reflection from the men. And Ayah’s character was yes great in that the author highlighted her naivety, mental health, and the effect seclusion had on her, but for earths only remaining survivor I expected her to be a badass as well. Because when she was first introduced she had this naive but secure in her ability to protect herself kind of vibe, not that I expected her to fight 4 men on her own but I expected some sort of intelligence in the self defense area. A long with the fact that she’s far too trusting especially with the fact that her grandmother always warned her about outsiders, so I expected a little more back bone and more of a challenge for the boys. But she folded so quick I was face palming A LOT. I’m sorry this book just left me with so much to say because the characters just took so many turns that were unexpected and frustrating to me personally. It was entertaining but woo I had so much steam just building up within me. "
