I Loved Him Without Touching Him

Preface – A Love That Began Without Touch
It began as a first sight connection—not on the street or at a café, but through a screen. A girl’s eyes caught a boy’s smile, and the world rewrote itself.
This is not just a heartbreak story. It’s a memory pressed between heartbeats, told through moments most people scroll past. A girl fell in love without ever touching the boy. No perfume. No fingertips. Just feelings.
But what began with sparks and promise turned into something slower, sadder, deeper.
Men might find parts of themselves here too—because this story doesn’t blame; it reflects. It shows how easily love can grow in silence, and how quietly it can disappear when trust breaks.
So I sit here with a mug of rose‑milk, the taste of lonely midnights, turning my softest memories into the sharpest sentences. If you are holding this book, know that you are holding the weight I refused to carry any longer.
I am not here to expose him, only to unbury me. Ten feelings. One journey. Let the pages breathe for both of us.
Chapter 1 – The First Spark
The screen flickered, and out of nowhere, a stranger’s face appeared. It was midnight, one of those moments when she was simply scrolling through a random video call app with no real intention to talk. But something made her pause instead of swiping away.
At first, neither spoke. Just silence—eyes meeting through pixels, both unsure who would break it first. Finally, he smiled softly.
Boy: “Hi… can you hear me?”
Girl: “Yes. But only for a few minutes. I don’t usually stay long on these calls.”
Boy: “Then I’ll make these few minutes worth it.”
His voice carried a calm confidence. Not arrogant, not desperate—just enough to make her stay.
They started with light talk—music, silly filters, random jokes. She kept her walls up, always believing men were heartbreakers. But then, he leaned a little closer to the screen.
Boy: “Your eyes… they’re beautiful. Honest truth.”
She tried to brush it off, smirking.
Girl: “Do you say that to every girl who shows up here?”
Boy: “Not everyone is the same. And not every girl has eyes like yours.”
Her chest tightened, though she disguised it with sarcasm. Still, something about his words slipped past her defenses.
He asked for her number. She tilted her head, testing him.
Girl: “Fine. I’ll give you eight digits. The last two, you’ll have to find out. If you really want to see me again—prove it.”
He grinned, eyes lighting up with the thrill of a challenge.
Boy: “If I find out the missing digits, you’ll be mine. Challenge accepted.”
She hesitated, her heart whispering yes even while her lips said otherwise.
Girl: “Maybe…”
His smile grew mischievous.
Boy: “No, not maybe. You will be mine, babe.”
Her eyes widened at his boldness.
Girl: “Who gave you permission to call me that?”
Boy: “If I find you again, you’ll belong to me. And then, I’ll call you whatever I wish.”
For the first time, she laughed genuinely, a mix of shock and secret delight.
Girl: “Better luck then.”
But her heart betrayed her. Deep inside, it whispered the opposite—Okay… find me.
Finally, she cleared her throat, masking the emotion.
Girl: “Anyway, it’s late. Bye.”
Boy: “Bye… but not forever.”
The call ended, but the spark lingered. She had entered the app expecting nothing. Yet, she left with her heart carrying a secret wish—that maybe, just maybe, he would find her again.
