Chapter 1
Freddy, being Freddy, spam-texted Derek for an absolutely dumb reason.
Freddy:
“Dude! Our next-door neighbor hasn’t come out in years! You gotta come check it out with me!”
Derek:
“Dude. We saw her come out a month ago.”
Freddy, being Freddy:
“Yeah yeah, but she was taking kids though.”
After Freddy BANGed on Derek’s door, Derek accidentally BANGed his own head.
Freddy:
“Oh well!”
Derek, slapping Freddy:
“DUDE, THAT HURT!” But Freddy wasn’t listening. He grabbed Derek and ran to the neighbor’s house. Once there, Freddy KICKED the door down. They stepped inside, and something fell.
Freddy: “Fall?” (Yeah, the story has bad grammar.)
Derek: “Dude, the grammar isn’t THAT bad.”
Suddenly, a knife slammed into the wall next to Freddy’s… ugly—I mean, nice head.Freddy jumped on Derek, screaming like a girl. Derek dropped him, and Freddy got up, muttering:“I don’t need you anymore,” while trying to remember his script.Freddy then noticed a broken vase… and his wallet.
Derek, sighing:
“We should go home.”
Freddy:
“Shut up, nerdo!”
Slowly, they looked around. And found a dead body. Deader than the crazy lady’s husband. Then the crazy lady appeared behind Freddy. He screamed like a girl again… but had a very smart idea.
Freddy:
“Listen, lady, I’ll give you five dolla-dolla if you… uh… let me live. You can take Derek!”
Derek slapped Freddy. The crazy lady hit Freddy on the head with a glass bottle, but Freddy shrugged it off. He left, came back to grab Derek and his money, and said:
“This story is short. We need to make it longer.”
Freddy grabbed a vacuum cleaner.
“We ate the Scoob.busters!” he shouted… then froze.Freddy, realizing his mistake:
“Wait no! I mean… we are the Scoob-busters!”
The crazy lady came at them. Freddy threw the vacuum cleaner at her. She died. Freddy and Derek ran out of the house.
Freddy:
“My mom’s gonna kill me if she finds out I took her vacuum cleaner!”
Derek face-palmed and left.
“If Y’ALL like this, then we get Chapter 2!”

I couldn’t stop reading once I started! The way you write dialogue and emotion makes the characters feel so real, almost like they could walk off the page. The details in your storytelling make it easy to picture everything so clearly. There’s a lot of depth in the way you build relationships, too. I’m curious, what inspired you to create this story?
