Finally home
"I really liked the vibe of this one. It’s not just another romance; it feels more like a deep breath after holding it for too long. That small-town atmosphere with the fog and the smell of pine - it’s so well-done that you can almost feel the chill on your skin. But what actually stayed with me was the vulnerability between Mia and Ridge. It’s that specific, shaky feeling when you’ve wanted something for so long that when it finally happens, it’s almost overwhelming. The way they talk to each other feels very raw and grounded, without any of that fake, over-the-top dialogue you usually see in these kinds of stories. It’s about that relief of being understood and finally feeling safe with someone. I think we’ve all had those moments where you’re terrified and sure at the same time, and the author captured that perfectly. It’s just a very honest, warm piece of writing that makes you want to slow down and just be in the moment with them. No unnecessary drama, just a lot of heart. Total win for me."
Great story!! Loved!!
"I really enjoyed this book! It was alluded that the main female character had some kind of traumatic past, I just wish the author explained her past to give some context to the dialogue between the main female character and her best friend. But that’s really my only “complaint”, if you could even call it that! "
