Introduction
Dear reader,
I do hope this grimoire finds you well. Within its pages does it contain the story of great importance. You see, in a faraway land, somewhere far beyond the capabilities of the human psyche, lying between the folds of reality and imagination; lies a land filled with toadstool houses, magenta streams and magic. The wielders of such magic are the Fairies â this taleteller doth not speak of thy Tinkerbell or of thy Neverland, for a fairyâs wings must be earned. And only the select few, chosen by their honoured Duke in the Call of Favour ceremony, may embark on the gruelling challenges to achieve said wings.
There are four Dukes for the four territories of Faeland; Lord Poppin of Ingledew County, Lord Edgar of The Dragonlands, Lord Mosby of Toodlewood and Lord Chalk of Craghollow. All four Dukes reside and govern their respected land, all under the watchful eye of the Royal Family located in Lightcliff â the capital city of this fair land. Only those who have earned favour and achieved their wings can entre Lightcliff⊠or so the tales say.
