"This story has an interesting trope - entering the mind of a kidnapper. The plot moves well and the story is clear. The male lead Virgil wrestles with his dark desires and finds ways to justify them to himself. There are small glimpses into the mind of the female lead Annabelle that add complexity. This is not a fairytale and there are no heroes. Opinion: I felt like this story was more of a thriller than a romance or an erotic novel. The storyline was what drew me in , the characters have complex ideas of love and the sex scenes did not contain the level of intensity common to other erotic stories. 🎥 Dual perspectives. Clearly identified. 80% male lead 20% female lead. 🤬 some swearing and degrading language 🔪 Dark violent themes. Some graphic violence on scene. 💋 some sex scenes. Not explicitly graphic. 🔚 Brutal twist. The author sets it up, but I didnt believe it would happen so it still caught me unexpectedly. "

"Nice short read. I like how there was absolutely no additional fluff. This story is straight to the point of the event at hand, almost entirely from the male point of view. This alone was an interesting view. There were some plot twists and the ending!? It was not what I expected! And I dont know how to feel about that. I was surprised for sure. Thank you for sharing."
