Letters To My Eyes

Summary

Poetry N’ Motions: Book 3 is a love letter to the people who have embraced this series from the beginning. Every poem is titled with a reader’s name and shaped as a personal dedication—an intimate conversation in verse. Instead of writing about an audience, this collection writes to them: weaving each supporter’s spirit into lines of faith, gratitude, and reflection. Some poems celebrate quiet courage, others speak blessing over hidden wounds; all carry the familiar heartbeat of grace and hope that defines the series. Part keepsake, part spiritual gift, this is poetry as communion—where the boundary between writer and reader disappears, and everyone who has journeyed through these pages becomes part of the story itself. This is an ongoing project where each subscriber becomes a flower in the garden — each with a poem dedicated in their name. Subscribe to have your own piece written just for you.

To My Flowers

To my flowers

My wild dandelions, roses, gladioli, orchids, and sunflowers

You make me feel like the wind

I am grateful for you

You welcome me in

You give me freedom to penetrate your conscious and heart

Allowing me to freely be me in honesty, whether humorous, dramatic, emotional, or dark

You see me

And I see you

I have a letter, a story to tell

For each one of you

When life gets hard and even when things are good

Here, in this garden, you can always feel understood

And when you run out of the words to say

Allow me to poetically serenade you in artistic expression and wordplay

I blow on you, freely running through the petals of your stature

You experience the essence of repaying me with interest, tears, and laughter

You are my eyes

Together there is nothing we cannot see

For with you my voice can rise

And freely we can just be

Allowing the world to see our beauty

Facing challenges with authority

Restoring the earth with our love

Replenishing the crops with our grace

Glorifying and honoring God above

And sharing the bliss and enrapturing of His embrace

Taking hold and holding on to the joy within

To my beautiful, strong, exceptional flowers

Sincerely, The Wind
