Dark Romantasy
"The book is dark but tasteful. It is unlike anything else I have read in the way it incorporates clinical perspective as a form of narration. Usually abuse is so passionate and emotionally motivated. To see it written so differently was chilling. Surface level, the book would be good for anyone who enjoys dark Romantasy with a strong female lead. That said, I do think there is more depth to the book for those willing to look. Certain aspects of it pushed me towards philosophical questions. So consider giving it a shake if you're into that. The author does a great job at trigger warnings on the front end of applicable chapters. "

"I enjoyed this story. The clinical reports were really interesting. Some of the darker chapters were really harrowing to read which is credit to the author for powerful writing. It's a really interesting and creative concept."
