"This is such a sweet and tender story. Even though Eli goes through a lot August’s quiet patience and understanding is always there. I really don’t understand Eli’s parent’s behavior. I love that August’s mom is so understanding. I think that’s where August gets it from. I’m glad Eli found his voice and the courage to stand up for himself. When the other kids step forward to stand with him is one of the best moments of the story. Wonderful job author. 💞🩷💞"
