Fun read, compelling character

"The world is interesting, with an intriguing mix of the magical and mundane. I love a female led story, and I'm deeply engaged with the mythology (super curious about the tattoos). I'm not a huge fan of having so many awful for awful's sake villains. That always feels hard to believe for me, but I'm hoping those characters will be fleshed out more soon. Villain motivations are so integral to good fantasy! Definitely worth a read. "
