The encounter with Zein is a perfect catalyst, disrupting his fragile balance and forcing him to confront emotions he buried centuries ago. The flashbacks to the slaughter of the Oryang tribe and his rescue by Carmellia are both terrifying and heartbreaking, adding crucial depth to his character.
