Chapter 1: How it all started

My name is Alexande Brown. I was born in South Africa to amazing parents who loved to explore. Sadly they died in a car accident, I can't really tell what happened but I know that I lost them.

I was later taking to a Catholic Orphanage to be raised. They did a great job but man, I hated it there, the sisters where so strict and acted all mighty and I wasn't a kid really loved by most cuz I was troublesome. As time passed the superiors in the orphage grew tired of me, not because I was stubborn but because no one wanted to adopt me. Later one faithful Thursday after the morning mass a weird looking man came for adoption. What was weird was he wasn't with any female, he didn't even look like a parent, he scanned the children of the orphanage and nodded disappointedly. Later he left. As I thought, I later lost track track of him and when to eat. At the cafeteria the lady the said something annoying she insulted my late parents and called them useless, I didn't care what she said next I took a knife and launched at her eyes. After doing that I felt very 😌 relieved.

As I was braising for the worst, I noticed that weird man nodding and smiling at me. It made me feel weird but I was hungry. So I went to eat calmly.

I was called later by the head of sisters, I expected to be scolded by her but she looked so happy.

Sister:"Alex I am very happy to see U". Something she never told me in many years. '' you have been adopted by Mr James ''. I looked to scan the room and saw that weird looking man from earlier smiling at me. "Go pack your stuff" she added. Well she didn't have to tell me twice. I went upstairs and packed my stuff. The weird man took me to a very beautiful car, I entered without hesitation, when I arrived at our destination it was a big mansion with kids my age training with guns, spears and knifes.

I entered the place,I was really scared but also curious.

I asked a lady that was cleaning what this place was,She was surprisingly very polite she told me this was an agency created to train spies that would kill presidential enemies like politicians or you know rivals. I was really shocked and I asked myself why they chose me of all people.

As I was unpacking in my beautiful room I saw a girl, she was so beautiful she was my roommate her name, Rosie. Rosie had a similar story but not a story for today. As I was done with everything I decided to go meet the that weird man and ask him some very important questions. As I approached him he turned to me and said, "Alex you will address me as leautenant James, I chosed you because your brave and you fight for justice in respective of who is involved". At that he turned and left.

That was weird I said to my self. Then my room mate Rosie came to me and said training starts at 4am everyday. I didn't like the sound that one bit.

Sydne: Very heartwarming story. It has real emotions. The main female character reminds me somewhat of myself having to deal with childhood trauma that just leads you down a path of more bad decisions until one day you make a decision that changes everything for the better and it’s hard for to realize that...

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

TopazHorizon: What a sweet love story! I loved all the little stories from their childhood and teenhood. It really gave depth to their very fast love story. It made sense! I love how their parents were part of the story, too. I love how Theo is so gentle with her, like she's fragile... And yet so bossy in bed hah...

THE WOMAN HE BOUGHT

Sharda: This reads like if it's the author's first book. There were a lot of missing things to make the story feel real. I appreciated the good grammar and the storyline was good. It just needed some more, the book felt a bit rushed.
