Chapter 1
Daddy, I know you brought me up as your own when nobody else wanted me!
All I wanted was to make you proud of me!
I was aware that they were all making fun of me!
I was aware that I should not have gone down there!
But I could not stop myself!
A day has never gone by that I had not been persuaded to look out of my window,
To notice the delicious food and dancing downstairs, outside!
During this day, I could hear the sounds of joy!
They made me want to rush down the stairs as fast as I could!
During this day, I could hear a woman with a grin greet me!
She was so lovely; she brought tears to my eyes!
