A story we can relate to
"This is a story I’d like to see on the shelves in libraries and bookstores. It’s concise, well written, and enjoyable in its simplicity. There is a bit of repetition that becomes tedious. I say “a bit” because the prose and the pacing really benefit from the technique. Toward the end, however, especially in the prologue, it starts to become too much. While it’s nice to see the character growth and development, their explanations (via LinkedIn posts) repeat a lot and it detracts from the rest of the narrative. (Trying to say all that without spoilers probably makes it as clear as mud). Overall, this was a delightfully sardonic romp into the very frustrating reality of office politics and I will be sharing it with everyone I know who has felt this pain."
