Author’s Note
Before you dive into this book, I wanted to clear up a few details to help you better understand the wolves of the Lunar Genesis Pack.
In this world, wolves are born into the pack. They live separately from humans and rarely interact with them—the pack is large and self-sustaining, so contact with outsiders is uncommon.
Every pack member is born with a wolf spirit inside them. As children, they can feel their wolf’s presence, especially as they approach puberty, but communication doesn’t begin until they turn eighteen. Their first shift—always at midnight on their eighteenth birthday—is a sacred moment and celebrated throughout the pack.
Mates are considered a divine gift from the Moon Goddess herself, and that bond is deeply revered. Most wolves find their mates soon after turning eighteen. Rejection of a mate is taboo, almost unheard of within the pack’s traditions.
Each pack is led by an Alpha and Luna, the heart and strength of their people.
To truly complete the mating bond, both partners must claim one another in both their human and wolf forms.
I hope this helps you step more easily into the world of the Lunar Genesis Pack.
