"I really enjoyed the first five chapters — they pulled me in right away! The story’s easy to follow but still full of emotion and little surprises. The characters already feel alive, and I love how each chapter slowly shows more of who they really are. Some parts honestly made me stop for a moment just to take it in. I seriously can’t stand the father — which means the author did an amazing job writing him, because wow, he made me feel all sorts of frustration. On the other hand, Mai and Rin are such a perfect duo! Their funny and lighthearted moments made me laugh and balanced out the heavier scenes so well. Overall, I think it’s such a beautiful start. It has heart, emotion, and just the right mix of drama and warmth. I can’t wait to see where the story goes next — I’m definitely hooked already!"
