Prologue: Introductions.

If the first thirteen years of my life have taught me anything, it's to always aspire to be someone great. I've always heard that it's important to accomplish something extremely distinguished with your life. Wouldn't it be fantastic if people remembered you forever?

Your picure plastered all over the newspapers. Your full name displayed in pretty lettering with a beautiful font. Affixed with bright neon light bulbs lining its outer edges. That particular billboard would have the potential to make it to every single television in sight. It would make casual passersbyers go: 'Oh man, I wish I were her,'

'I wish I had that life,'

'How is she so pretty?'

Not convinced? Well, you wouldn't think most thirteen year olds would be up in arms over trivial things like that. They wouldn't care about being some national tycoon or show stopping celebrity. If it were your child, you would want them to lead a normal life. Having those kinds of thoughts should be more suited for teenagers of an older age. However, all of that flashy talk aside, I am a different story. I'm not saying I've led the most exciting life.

Goodness, no. Not even by a longshot. It's been bland and boring to be honest and truthful. On the otherhand, I'm also not saying my existing journey has been awfully horrifying. I mean– aside from the obvious occasional bully every teen and child has to deal with while they slowly chug along through their mildly uneventful adolescence; my life has been pretty flipping cool! Haven't had a major family crisis. No abusive parents, no wicked step sisters, no unfortunate tales of woes. No deaths in the family. I still have both parents, even though I only live with my Mom.

Don't get to see my dad much. They split a while ago. I pretty much have all of my other family members. Preposterous, right? Cousins, Uncles, Aunts. You name it.

(Well, unless you count that one Aunt that died about a year or two ago.)

No one really spoke much about her because she was kind of psycho. That's what I overheard my Mom say while I "accidentally" eavesdropped in on a conversation between her and one of her brothers. She was still choked up about it, but I think she was more worried about what would happen to her two boys and who they were going to live with now that, and I quote: 'Crazy psycho Aunt Sally,' bit the dust.

(I didn't say that. My Mother said it.)

Ah well... I'm getting sidetracked! Going back to what I was originally talking about, my life has been great. I'm halfway through my third and last year of niddle school (I know I said I was thirteen, but I'll be fourteen soon!) I have decent grades and not many teachers hate me this year! Woohoo! Success! My grades aren't terrible, but they aren't perfect like one of those "goody-two-shoes,"

"I'm-better-than-you," kids.

I'm in band and I play the Piccolo. The outcasts are my people at school. I feel the safest while I sit amongst their ranks. I won't lie to you, though... I do have friends from every clique. Ironic, isn't it?

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that up until this point my puny teenage life has been perfectly normal. I would never expect anything cool or outstanding to happen to me like those children on fantasy based films. They are blessed with awesome powers they never knew they had. Maybe they found out they're actually a Warlock and can wield otherworldly magic! Haha. That is, at the end of the day, Hollywood drivel. It's fiction fodder for the minds of impressionable youth. Make believe. That sort of crap will not happen to people in real life, right? I wish that were the case.

But I didn't know just how wrong I was.

I'll tell you how it all went down, down to the last grimy, juicy, spicy detail. I've definitely taken up enough of your time. I can assure you that this particular moment in question changed my life. It surprised me and of course, if it wasn't already that obvious–

I WAS NOT READY!

Stay tuned for the intro. :) ♡ I hope you all will get to love the main character Ellie. She has a lot of spunk! I have around 21 chapters to type up and post. It's not complete, but it's a fan fiction I started almost 4 years ago. (Maybe even longer) I hope you guys will check it out and end up loving it. ♡
