Chapter 1: The day I met you
Sahina, a young and lovely girl, loved to play the guitar and lived in Tokyo with her little sister, Nitsu.
Let's start...
Just like every morning, this one was no different. Sahina was still sleeping, and Nitsu was yelling at her,
*“Sahina, it’s 8 o’clock and you’re still sleeping!”*
*Sahina* groaned, *“Hmm... I just woke up now.”*
She went to brush her teeth, and Nitsu called out again,
*“Sahina, it seems you forgot! You were probably going on holiday today!”*
Sahina whispered to herself,
*“Oh no! I forgot.”*
She quickly started getting ready. She had already called a cab, so after a rushed breakfast, she left for the station. As soon as she arrived, the train was already about to leave. She ran as the gate was closing, increased her speed, and just managed to get in.
Panting after boarding, she looked around but couldn’t find a single empty seat. The entire carriage was full. Finally, she stood near a pole.
Then someone called out from behind,
*“Excuse me!”*
She turned to see a boy with green, sparkling eyes, shining hair, an aqua-blue coat, and a handsome face — it felt like she was lost in him.
He smiled and said,
*“You can sit here in my place.”*
Sahina hesitated, but he insisted,
*“No, no, it’s okay. I can manage.”*
He got up, and she sat down, still glancing at him as if she had fallen in love at first sight... which she already had.
After some time, Sahina’s station arrived, but she didn’t get down. She had to know more about that boy. When his station came, she quickly got off behind him, quietly following. She was curious to know his name.
The boy visited a few places before finally stopping at a small café. He ate something, drank tea, and left. As soon as he walked out, Sahina rushed in and secretly checked the bill records. Her eyes lit up when she found his name — *Shion*.
A smile spread across her face. She whispered, *“Shion...”* and started dancing with joy before leaving the café. While walking along the roadside, she kept murmuring his name to herself, *“Sahina–Shion, Shion–Sahina…”* like it was already a part of her.
It became her little routine — watching him from afar. For the next few days, she kept seeing him, quietly following from a distance. Just seeing him made her day.
Then, on the fourth day, Sahina decided to do something bold. That morning, she wore the same outfit as him — just to feel a little closer. Shion was walking down an empty road when suddenly, a few stray dogs began barking out of nowhere.
Startled, Sahina ran ahead in fear — only to stop right in front of Shion.
They locked eyes.
Time stood still.
Both seemed surprised and unsure of what to say.
Shion finally broke the silence, *“Ahm–ahhmm…”*
Sahina looked confused, *“Hmm?”*
Shion asked shyly, *“Why are you staring at me?”*
Sahina, caught off guard, said, *“Actually… I don’t know.”*
Her eyes dropped shyly.
Shion chuckled and said, *“Well, it’s strange… wherever I go these days, I see you. I don’t even know how or why.”*
Sahina blushed and looked away, whispering, *“Same here… I don’t know either.”*
There was a soft pause.
Then Shion smiled and asked, *“By the way… your name?”*
Sahina blinked, flustered, *“Mine? Uh… Sahina. And yours?”*
*“Shion,”* he replied gently.
Sahina smiled to herself, *“Yes... I know.”*
Shion looked surprised, *“Huh? What did you say?”*
She quickly covered, *“No, nothing!”*
Then, trying to be brave, she added, *“Can I say one thing?”*
*“Sure.”*
Sahina hesitated, then softly said, *“You are…”*
Shion tilted his head, *“What?”*
*“…You are very handsome.”*
Both of them turned red at once, freezing in the moment like statues — hearts pounding, yet smiling.
