Chapter 1: the start
Hi im Hela and this is my life story. I open my eyes to my parents and 7 kids running around in the background. Oh just look at those horns, mom said to dad. Yea, she will make a great human hunter, dad replied. You see on there 4th kid they got kicked out of there home so now we are all hiding and going undercover as a human. Mom, i'm hungry, one of my sisters said.
Mom took me to my new room and named me Hela. i stayed in my room till my 2nd birthday and i met all my siblings. The oldest was a boy named bou because he is a powerful demon even when he was born. The 2nd oldest was a girl named mara because she is always annoying everyone. The 3rd oldest is Will and is always making sure everybody is okay and nobody is getting bullied. The 4th is june because is is bullying her siblings left and right.
5th is von because my parents had hope they would be able to go back to demon vally but couldn't. 6th is beau because she can't fall in love as easily as others can and 7th is chai because he could bring the dead back to life. Then there is me, Hela means goddess of death.
When i turned 4 my parents told me about demon valley and being kicked out and how we need to hide our identity from humans and blend in with them. On my first day of school in 2nd grade a boy named noah let me sit with him on the bus and a boy named jack let me sit with him in class. You see i've been homeschooled and mom and dad sent me to school in the middle of the school year. Bou is 13, mara is 12, will is 11, june is 10, von is 9, beau is 8, chai is also 8 but 6 months age gap.
For demons being pregnant only takes 3 months. Im only 7 and the youngest so it is hardest but at the same time it is easy because all my siblings help me with homework and tell me what we are going to do in the class. Somehow we also have had the same teachers so on the first day bou is also hugging our teachers.
During recess i saw noah and jack on the playground and from that day on we were all best friends. After recess we sat together at lunch and laughed a lot. So Hela, jack asked, what brings you to this school? Well, i start, all of my siblings have been going here for a while and since it is a private school and goes to 12th grade all of my brothers and sisters can help me to 12 grade. How many brothers and sisters do you have? Noah asked surprised. I have 7, i answered.
The boys both gasped. That is so many! they both said at the same time. I laughed. Soon the bell rang and we went back to class. Math and ELA was boring but i loved spanish and science. When the bus came i was talking with noah about animals and how they are so cute!! When it was my stop i said bye to noah and got off to go home.
Best first day ever, i thought as i walked into my house. Mom ran up to me lifting up my arms then my legs and chin. What are doing? I asked. Are you hurt anywhere, mom said with a worried voice and face. Im fine mom, i said as i was prying myself out of her grip. Okay i just want to know because you were the last one to come in and it is your first day, mom said calmer. Okay i'm going to be in my room if you need me, i said to whoever was listening.
