Lost Within Veiled Realms - story of a Dreamer

"No! No! No! I can't just DIE here...Not when I have my dreams to fullfill...but..bu-but how did I EVEN end up here? How would I ESCAPE this MONSTER!?"

She was running, Rahi, a 18 year old school girl, from a middle class family, she didn't know what was happening with her but she was running. In the deep dead forest. The moon was bloody red, and sky was deep black, only dead trees were visible as long as eyes could really reach. The environment was misty, the smell of rotten bodys were unbearable. She could see those skeletons and dead bodies, people who already failed to survive this. Altogether it was like a horror movie. Without the fact that it was REALITY, she was running and running but how long can she even run with her injured leg!?

Suddenly tripping over a root and couldn't stand anymore...her eyes bursted with tears but she tried to continue. Suddenly...*crunch crunch* she got sound of something coming from behind...a shiver ran down her spine, the wind became cold, shaking with fear she looked behind her,"NO...my neck isn't moving but-but I have to look behind! It-it's...here!" just a murmur escaped her parted lips, looking at her stabbed leg her eyes roamed back to the creature...

Long teeth, red eyes, giant and whole body is covered with grey far, looks like a fox but a lot bigger, its mouth was watering... weirdly it could walk in 2 legs and had a big dagger as wepon.

It started coming towards her, making those dry leaves crunch under it's giant paw. The Greed in his eyes were visible like a monster looking at his prey in most pitiful way possible. Like her fear making it happy! She started crawling, trying to somehow escape but her leg already gave up, the injury was so deep to ignore. Blood was coming out as if it's gonna be her last day.Her eyes started to close...she tried to hold onto a tree nearby but couldn't. "If I don't leave this place, would anyone even ever find my body!? Please...save me... someone...anyone..." It was almost a begging whisper to the God for the last time.

*Whoosh!* Suddenly a sound of cold air came...the environment was misty and she was about to fell so she couldn't see perfectly. But she saw a Shadowy figure coming from a bush nearby, he looked at her and smirked. She couldn't saw his face but, he was in traditional clothes, wearing a gold plated dhoti like a God, wearing multiple gold jewelleries and he wasn't wearing anything at upper body without those necklaces , his abs were visible like a hero from traditional emperor manga but main thing, his eyes were covered with a silver mask. He smirk widened as he noticed the uncertainty in her eyes, like she couldn't understand if he is a helper or another monster, he was also amused to see the flicker of hope in her eyes"Don't worry little girl, I wouldn't hurt you...it has been hundreds of years I saw someone with this rare will power that even I couldn't resist to save you. You're so lucky perhaps, but remember..once I save you, there would be no turning back! You would be mine...how? where? All the questions would be answered later on" after finishing the line his eyes left her and fall onto that monster.

That shadowy person went towards the monster...each step were graceful like he isn't afraid of anything, his smirk was saying he could just slice this monster in half with ease, but before she could see anything or ask who is he and why even he is helping her, she fainted...

She woke up finding herself in her bedroom. At first she couldn't digest but realising what happened she murmured,"A nightmare!? Was...it all ju-just a dream!?... okay that's actually better! For a sec a I thought it was my last night!" She was both surprised and relieved...but her peace didn't last long, not when she randomly looked at her leg because she was feeling a little pain there. "How!? Ho-how!?" Her eyes widen when she saw that she has same stabbed mark as last night, the mark which was given by that monster!

"No...no...no, how can it even happen!? It wasn't reality!..it wasn't? Right?"

Not being able to process what's happening, she just looked at her leg in surprised eyes, more like fearful...but she tried to build her heart as all were just coincidence. She somehow didn't notice this injury..but deep down she knew, it wasn't just a dream...it can not be...
