Where the light finds us
"What an amazing job you did writing this story. I could relate to it as well. You did an excellent job with her character and I feel it was true to light. Very well written. Thank you. "
Captivating story!
"I could not put this book down. Telling each of their stories, Jenna’s growth, Luke being a strong, stable presence and loving Jack. Goodness, it was just so good. Can’t wait to read Noah’s book next!!"
Beautiful and touching !
"Enjoyed it very much, loved Luke’s character."
Where the Light Find Is
"Absolutely amazing. GBV is rife in my country and believe me the law fails these women and men. In most cases it doesn't end well. Glad she made it out, at a steep price but she survived. She is a worrier, I hope one-day she will tell her story might save someone else. Love it. Great characters. Luke is just a blessing, Noah the trustworthy brother. "
Great
"I like the plot and the fact that the female lead is not just running to a hero to save her, instead she shows inner strength"
WOW!
"I'm sooooooo gripped on the edge of my seat, but in reality these things that are happening to Jenna and Jack. Can very much be real"
Great story that needs some polishing
"The plot, story and characters were great. I enjoyed it a lot. There are some things that could be improved. There are some inconsistencies in the story. First you mention that James has a history of violence against women and later there is nothing to be found. Also first Jenna had always wanted to work in HR or something. But later she always wanted a bakery? These small things could be fixed to have the story flow better and less confusing. Also the way you describe scenes from both point of view makes some parts feel very repetitive. Especially when the change of pov adds very little and just repeats large parts of the same dialogue. I would either stick with the most important POV in each scene or make sure to actually add to the experience. And lastly, there are some scenes that seem to copy the exact same dialogue or observations as in another scene. Not that it is now written in a different POV, but in a new situation. It sometimes feels like you forget what you've already written. But overall I enjoyed the story. I wanted to see how it would end. It has a lot of potential. I hope you will one day do a rewrite/edit where you polish this story/book a bit more to reach its full potential. "
