Preface

To whom is to read the text you hold in your hand. I shall introduce myself with no more of a name as the Taxidermist. The piece of text you are now laying your eyes upon will only be found if I would ever be lost or to be dead. And you as the reader are most likely working on my house after I will be considered to be dead or never to return to this building.

You must understand that the things I will write here will be considered by many to be the ramblings of a mad man. But as most likely you are about to find out the contrary. As in my lives work is to be found within my house.

The work of which , I understand the implications are world shattering to those who do not have knowledge of the field of my study. And to the person who finds my work I press it to your heart to tread carefully in the world you are about to find yourself in as for all its perfect Beauty. It might be true that its dark and rotted part may be bigger.

You see, I wasn't always a student of the matter. And nor will history remember me for my largest body of work. Most who have heard my name. Of which I shall not speak here to preserve its legacy. Will know me through my work as a taxidermist for multiple natural history museums around the world. As my specialty within insects preparation. And many may have laid their eyes upon my work. Fewer people would have read my papers about said work and insects, especially my work on praying mantises Aldo within the circles of academia. I am sure my work is much better known.

I used to work from a small storefront in old London. At which I made my work for customers or to display within my store. This was before I got invited by the London natural history museum within London to work for them in their butterfly preparation team. At which I took the chance. Quickly, students working at the museum would notice my precision at my work and started commissioning me for their study works. This started my basis of working with many scientists over my career as a taxidermist and helping with studies on many different insects.

So, as that's said, this is not the work on which I write this piece. This work is of a different nature, Aldo still has much to do with taxidermy. And I remember when I started getting involved.

But that is for a later story yet to be written within the ink on these pages. You will find out about the story of my work through the pages of this work at which I give the name “Grammatica mysterium” which shall be sorted and listed through the specimens of which I am sure you will find many within my house. But of which some are not within my collection. The specimens will have their descriptions and stories attached to it for each entry into this work. Aldo incomplete and not nearly finished. This grimoire holds the mysteries of which the World may never have heard.
