Very Good Potential, But Needs Improvement

"I love the core concept of the story. What I thought worked well: 1. The twist makes sense. A former forensic junior analyst with access, skill, motive (resentment), and knowledge of Arjuna’s method. 2. The forensic detail about fingerprints is interesting. The “inverted, slightly off ridge pattern” is a good detail. What I thought didn’t work well and could definitely be improved: 1. The writing feels very “told,” not shown. Instead of letting us understand Arjuna through action, the narrator tells us he is “sharp, confident, composed,” and “obsessed with admiration.” It feels like an info dump rather than storytelling. 2. Grammar and writing errors. 3. The pacing is too fast. 4. The reveal is too easy. Too convenient. He just zooms into a picture → sees a smudge → realizes everything? It feels rushed. 5. Emotional depth is still lacking. Arjuna should feel betrayal, anger at himself for being blind, horror at being manipulated. Instead, it tells us he’s angry, but doesn’t show it. Final Verdict: A decent concept with strong visuals and a clean ending, but weakened by clichés, rushed character development, and unpolished writing. With revision, it could be a much more gripping psychological thriller. "
