Chapter 1 total extermination
THE EXTERMINATION OF ROACHES
As the world kept spinning peacefully, oblivious to what was about to unfold, darkness began to spread in one particular country. Mysterious murders began piling up, one after another. The crime rate soared. People became terrified to even step outside, fearing they might be the next victim.
The killers behind these cold-blooded crimes remained unknown. Days turned into weeks, and the body count kept rising. But in every single case, investigators noticed a strange, haunting patterned a chrysanthemum flower was always found either on the victim’s chest or lying beside them.
Eventually, the authorities managed to capture one of the serial killers. Desperate for answers, they tortured him, forcing him to speak. That’s when they uncovered the truth.
An organization calling itself Extermination of Roaches was behind it all.
This group believed that humanity itself was a disease. To them, no human deserved to live. They recruited lost, broken people those who had given up on life, those with nothing left to lose. But before the police could extract the location of the group’s main base, the captured killer took his own life, hanging himself in his prison cell.
Days passed. The nightmare didn’t end it spread. The violence went global. Other people in other countries began to follow the ideology of Extermination of Roaches, leading to a worldwide outbreak of cold-blooded murder. The organization thrived in the shadows, growing stronger and more infamous.
Soon, the number of deaths climbed from thousands to millions. Some members of the organization were expert hackers. They breached military systems and gained access to devastating weapons missiles, nuclear bombs, anything they could get their hands on. They launched them anywhere and everywhere.
The numbers kept climbing.
Millions turned into billions. The madness raged on. The world was drowning in an ocean of fire. The sky burned red. Cities crumbled. The air reeked of rotting human flesh. Maggots and wild animals feasted on the dead.
The oceans ran red with blood, polluted by the fallout of countless nuclear explosions. The world became a graveyard a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Even those who managed to hide in underground bunkers wouldn’t survive for long. Three days at most.
Then… the inevitable came.
The extinction of humanity.
Even the ones who started it all were wiped out.
And in the silence that followed, only one thing remained: fields of chrysanthemums blooming across the ruins of civilization.
The world was still. Buildings finally collapsed under their own weight. Nature began to take back the land, with vines creeping up cracked structures and trees growing where cities once stood.
Humanity was gone.
But the chrysanthemums bloom.
All humans are evil, not because of what they've done but because of what they can do.
Good or evil makes no difference. A rose can grow thorns. A saint can pick up a blade. The only cure for the sickness of mankind is... Silence
