Cole Turner
Age: 22
Position: Left Wing, college hockey team captain
Personality: Calm, Loyal, protective- the kind of guy who rarely speaks, but when he does, people listen.
Background: Cole grew up on the ice, practically raised inside a hockey rink. He's dedicated to his sport and determined to make it to the NHL. He doesn't date much- too focused, too private- but when he falls, he falls hard.
Maya Jenkins
Age: 21
Major: Communications
Personality: Loud, loyal, and a certified drama queen.
Background: Lena’s best friend and biggest cheerleader since freshman year. She’s the one who gives Lena tough love and talks her into the fake dating plan. Maya’s heart is huge, but her mouth is even bigger.
Derek Hall
Age: 22
Major: Business
Personality: Charming when he wants to be — but manipulative underneath.
Background: Lena’s ex-boyfriend. Everyone thought he was perfect until his jealous streak and controlling behavior came out. Now he’s obsessed with getting Lena back, and he doesn’t care who he hurts in the process.
Coach Reynolds
Age: 40s
Position: Head Coach of the campus hockey team
Personality: Blunt but fair.
Background: A father figure to Cole and the rest of the players. He pushes Cole to stay focused, not get distracted by relationships — which, of course, becomes impossible when Lena shows up.
Eli and Jordan
Ages: 22 & 21
Positions: Defensemen / Cole’s teammates and best friends
Personality: Goofy, loyal, and always teasing Cole about his “mystery girl.”
Background: They’re the team clowns but secretly want Cole to be happy. They help Lena understand the hockey world — and may or may not run a group chat called “Operation Get Turner to Admit He’s in Love.”
