Chapter 1
A Different Kind of Hello
It was the first day of college when Arhaan saw her — sitting quietly under a tree, sketchbook in her lap, raindrops glistening in her hair.
Her name was Meher.
Everyone around was chatting and laughing, but she sat in silence — lost in her art.
When he tried to talk to her, she smiled softly and pointed at a small board around her neck:
“I can’t speak… but I listen with my heart.”
That one line changed his life.
Chapter 2: The Sound of Silence
Arhaan began noticing her everywhere — in the library, on the bench near the canteen, always surrounded by the quiet.
While others mocked her silence, he was drawn to it.
One day he sat beside her and showed her his phone screen:
“Do you believe love can happen without words?”
She read it, smiled, and wrote on her sketchpad:
“Words fade. Eyes never lie.”
From that day, they started talking through notes, signs, and glances.
Each moment was pure — simple — beautiful.
Chapter 3: When Love Found Its Voice
Over time, Arhaan learned sign language — not from books, but from her.
Every gesture she made, he memorized like poetry.
When he finally told her “I love you” in sign language, tears filled her eyes.
She didn’t reply in words — she simply placed her hand on his chest and smiled.
He understood.
Their love had no sound — yet it was louder than thunder, deeper than silence.
Chapter 4: The Storm That Took Her
But one evening, when the sky turned dark and rain began to fall, Meher didn’t come.
He waited under their favorite tree for hours — drenched, shivering, scared.
Later, he learned she had fallen sick.
Her weak heart couldn’t handle the illness.
Doctors said she might not survive the week.
Arhaan spent every moment with her — drawing, holding her hand, talking to her even though she couldn’t reply anymore.
Before her last breath, she signed slowly:
“Don’t cry. Smile for me… always.”
And just like that — she was gone.
Chapter 5: The Madness of Love
After her death, Arhaan changed.
He visited the same park every day, sitting under that tree in the rain, whispering to the wind:
“Meher… can you still hear me?”
People called him crazy.
But he didn’t care.
In every raindrop, he felt her touch.
In every breeze, he heard her silent laughter.
One day, he painted their last moment — her face in the rain, eyes half closed, the words written below:
“She never spoke… but her silence still echoes in my heart.”
🌧️ Epilogue
Years passed.
No one saw Arhaan again.
But whenever it rains, people say they see a boy standing under that same tree — looking at the sky, smiling through tears.
Because some love stories don’t end with goodbye…
They live forever in silence. 💫
