Well written story with a strong voice
"I've really enjoyed reading this story. The author has a strong and witty tone. I liked the characters from the set-go. The story starts quickly and gets going. The set-up is great. If I have a criticism, it's that Anton goes along with this really quickly. Although I see the point that Hecate obviously outclasses him, it would have been great to see him struggle a little more. I think that's the one thing that's missing here, a little friction. I enjoyed a bit when they meet Marek but he complies so quickly we don't get to enjoy it. I love Hecate and it's great to see such a powerful woman. I'd love to see what happens if she encounters more obstacles to her powers."
Spicy but also sweet
"Really enjoyed the sassiness of Hecate and the flirting with Anton. Cleverly written, good amount of prose and descriptive language to set the scene without overdoing it. Hecate’s benevolence is heartwarming but she remains seductive, while she was summoned she certainly wasn’t trapped. Hoping she and Anton have a future. "
