Chapter 1

🎬 Opening Scene

> Location: A quiet street on the edge of the city — night — light rain falls.

Character: Kayla (21), a college student, exhausted after a long day.

---

Inside the car — 11:47 PM

Kayla drives slowly, soft music playing in the background.

Her phone lights up with several message notifications.

She replies to her friend:

> Friend: “Forget him. You always get bored too fast.”

Kayla (laughs and types): “I only love the beginning. The endings are always boring.”

She arrives home and parks in front of her house.

Takes a deep breath, turns off the engine, grabs her phone, glances at herself in the mirror — and smiles faintly.

She steps out of the car and starts walking toward the house.

Her heels click softly on the pavement. The night is eerily quiet.

---

📱 Her phone buzzes — a new message from an unknown number.

> Text: “Stop walking.”

She freezes.

Looks around — no one there.

She chuckles nervously.

> Kayla (murmuring): “Probably a prank from one of my friends.”

She keeps walking.

After three steps — another message.

> Text: “I said stop.”

She stops completely. Her heart starts racing.

Slowly lifts her head — and sees a reflection in the car window across the street:

A shadowy figure standing behind her.

She spins around —

The street is empty.

The streetlight flickers for a second.

A third notification sound.

A short video message arrives.

She opens it…

It’s footage of herself, walking just seconds ago — filmed from a distance.

Her phone vibrates again — another message.

She opens it instantly:

> 🎙️ “You always loved the beginnings… didn’t you?”

Her phone slips from her hand, hitting the ground.

The screen goes black.
