Beautiful and Unique Story
"I have read so many mythical story, urband legend and so on, but only this time I read something about Canada, about the Dalbec curse. So happy to read, as it was not only entertaining, but also full of new things, new insights for me. Reading fiction while getting a new knowledge about new culture: that was what I felt. The plot is brilliant, the characters are lovely, just the way they are. It warmed my heart how they interacted. The joke? I love it! Every single of it. Really great. Highly recommended. Beautiful story, brilliant plot, hilarious joke: here you are!"

As it is warned if you want hinged fluff look away if you want unhinged feral chaos goblins with poor communications skills and all the chemistry with NONE of the qualifications to use the chemistry set look no further THIS is your book. I cackled, I cat called, I sobbed like a weirdo I. The line at Publix pharmacy because I trusted the playful vibes and I squealed with unadulterated joy at the ending. And the entire time I was on the edge of my seat asking BUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!? HOW DO THEY FIX THIS!? HE SAID WHAT!!!!?!!! 10/10 must read!"

I thoroughly enjoyed every character, all unique in their own way, which added depth to the storyline! I tried to limit myself to a chapter a day but that went out the window after chapter 3. I was so eager to see the relationship develop between Lilou and Adrian. I was not disappointed. 10/10 recommend!"

"This was such a fantastic story, I am sad to see it end. The characters are well-developed, and the side characters have their own arcs too. Not to mention the animals, the Forest Council, who, in their own right, are part of the supporting cast as well. The bond between Theodore the bear and Adrian is touching. And I loved how Bernie grows, how we see this friend character become so much more and such an integral part of the story. (I think Bernie became my favourite character. I just connected with him and fell in love.) Of course, I fell in love with Adrian and Lilou, and their clumsiness and disastrous awkward love. The plot points kept me wanting to learn more, but it's the characters that kept me coming back, gripping me with laughter or tears. It isn't every day you read a story that not only takes place in Quebec, my province, but is explicitly about a Quebec legend. This spin on the tale is original, heartwarming, touching, emotional, funny, and most importantly...UNPRECENDENTED!"
