Suprisingly deep
"You go into this story expecting a straightforward comedy. However, I appreciate the amount of depth the author has put into Mary, and the effort that has been put into her personal relationships, especially with Paulie. Some rather poignant moments emerge when her troubled past is revealed, along with well-written social commentary about spouse abuse. I'm glad that I went into this expecting a simple story and ended up coming away with a well-rounded experience! The algo has not been counting my reads today for some reason, but I have read every chapter and hope that there will be more in the future!"
