Ch#-1-She came to us From a Star

The seas are calm and the skies are clear with both making way with a metallic port, just another day for the triple changer who haven’t seen anything new for the member of the wrecker who haven’t done anything noteworthy, as he has returned home on the face of planet known as cybertron after for so long during the time of the war that has reached through so many inches of the galaxy affecting so many aliens and cybertronians alike, still scared of the facts that he likes to keep to himself... as a soldier who has seen the very beginning of the war itself being old, but the years of being prepared for war has made himself feel younger than he actually is defying his own age would suggest, as he is nnow returning back home after finally for all these long millennia of traumatic war trauma, and being forced int othe background hoping that he won’t be anymore flying or any more swimming...as the robot now is walking back home with a crate full of his favorite flavored energon cubes by his side, where he unnlocked the door to his little home that is actually big enough to house some one as big as he is...

...As one such participant of that one such war is finally able to return home after this long time, where he landed on the water, with him being forced to adopt a foreign Alternate Mode with him setting foot back inside, he has seen the beginning of the war, and for whatever reason, he is still feeling quite young...

broadside: ahh...finally I’m home...

...he is mostly grey with some red painted on to his body, with kibble tightly kept away underneath a series of neatly folded metal platesHe is now glad that he has to come back after so long, where he puts the energon cubes back into the fridge in his little dwelling space by the seaside that he hated so much, the noise of the waves, but as she is about to put down one of the last of the energon cubes into his fridge for safekeeping...

broadside: huh?...did I just miss one energon cube?

...he looked on the desk in the center of his room, there is a small blue glowing cube just sitting there in his desk, he sworn that he has bought several surplus of these energon cubes that he likes personally, but this one seemed different, it looks like it is rare energon cube, he thought to himself carefully, did he just get a a promotion in the convenience store with a special even to celebrate the war finally ending, or is it something where being at play here, he just shrugged, maybe is a free prize for war veterans maybe he has gotten a plus one for his efforts in participating in the war and then surviving it, maybe it is some sort of reward for living through it...

broadside: just how did this one get inside the crate...

...he swore to himself that he would carefully look at the store clerk when making any purchases, but this is a first for him... but he does feel a little bit hungry, he opened up his faceplate so that he can eat it, now he is utterly clueless about him seeing it in front of him...

...but that isn’t the case though, as he was just about to eat it in one bite, as it starts glowing in his hands getting brighter and brighter, forcing him to drop it as it hit the floor, as his head is starting to feel almost as if it is being pulled off to some where, not helped by the sound of the seaside where he lives in splashing against the walls of his house that os by the seaside...something that he now fears...

broadside; wh-what in the pit is happening!?...

...he really wished that he knows what is happening here, as the light is now having him to feel as if something inside his spark is trying to protect him form the ill effects of this one little energon cube that has mysteriously appeared right in fornt of him just all of a sudden, as he now fell over on to one knee and now everything turned black...

Broadside: what’s... happening to me...

...He can feel that his memories are fading away, with him seeing one memory after another, and one of those has come to his mind, where his memories have yet to be erased to make room for something...

...where he can see four figures, most likely the leaders of Cybertron, whose names he has yet to remember at all, with him now about to remember on the spot, where next his body is starting to fade away into smaller blue cubes, where he is starting to be transported off to some other place that he has yet to know of...

TIMESKIP WAS BROUGHT TO YOU BY, BROADSIDE FIGHTING ALONGSIDE ENTERPRISE...

now falling form the sky unconscious a young girl in a leotard and some metallic pars is now unaware of her falling form the sky above, into the sea below, once he has touched the salty sea water a soft glowing has made him safely encased in the form of some kind of a giant hull that is floating on the waters all around him as he is in a deep sleep... All until she can be found again...

??? location ??? pov:

alarms now ring all over the place where several women are now looking at the radars all over the place, being shocked at this sudden turn of events that lead them to see what is going to happen in the form of the big red dot in the middle of the map...

???: What is that?... Something from the axis? Most definitely from the axis, right?

...She is wearing a Nun’s uniform, where she is looking at the other woman she is tagging along with, hoping for the best for her safety along the way, after managing to trace the very coordinates where the anomaly has been located at this patch of expansive seas...

???:...that is yet to be determined...so just to be safe, scramble the scouting fleet immediately...

...the one in the captain’s cap is now looking at the screen, wondering what is going on out there... Where the sea is calm, unnaturally so... Enterprise and Vestal cruise silently under a fading sun, their sensors pinging faint anomalies... A strange silhouette looms ahead, massive, angular, unlike any Siren vessel...

Enterprise: That’s... not Siren tech... It’s not ours either... Vestal, are you seeing this?

Vestal: I see it... The hull’s... scorched, but intact. No signal... No cube resonance... It’s like it’s asleep...

Enterprise: Or dead... But it’s not rusted. It’s... alien...

Vestal: We don’t have records of anything like this... Not even in the Siren archives. Should we call for backup?”

Enterprise: No... Not yet... If this is a new Siren variant, we need to understand it first... Let’s board...

...They made plans to board the strange alien vessel, where they intend to investigate the interior from the inside, hoping to find out what makes it tick, given its general design to be almost like a normal cruiser if it weren’t for a myriad of reasons that it could be hiding underneath its hull...

[A/N: here’s a food for thought, don’t you think that it’s rage-bating that World of Warships failed to add Broadside and Seaspray, two characters specifically meant to go on the water, and excluded in favor to generic mainstays]

...The sky bleeds orange into deep blue. Enterprise and Vestal approach the anomaly..a massive, silent vessel adrift in neutral waters... Its silhouette is jagged, alien, and wrong...

Vestal: That’s not a ship... Not one of ours... Not even Siren... It’s... something else...

...And as they get the chance to get closer, the vessel that they are on their usual patrol, with the intention of investigating, where they can hear a mechanical sound... As a result of years of fighting, with some time with experience, Enterprise shoved Vestal to the side, where a small drone had hovered near them, and Enterprise initially

Vestal: Huh!?

...bright lights emitted from the main lens, where it has now scanned Enterprise for mysterious reasons, and she raised her bow just in case this is not the case, where they see it up in the air...

... but Enterprise pulled her behind to safety, where she has now forced her eyes closed thanks to the brightness of the scan that is currently observing Enterprise at the moment...

Vestal: wha-...what is that!?

Enterprise: Vestal! Stay behind me...

...She pushes Vestal gently but firmly behind her, eyes locked on the craft... Her hand hovers near her rigging controls... The air feels charged, like a storm waiting to break, but the worst to come hasn’t even come to pass...

Vestal: It’s not moving... No signals, not yet anyway... No cube resonance, just... silence... It’s almost as if they’re not trying to communicate with us...

..Suddenly, the alien vessel pulses... Its jagged form begins to shift, panels folding, hull reshaping, towers rising... The transformation is silent, mechanical, and impossibly fast...

Enterprise: It’s... copying us-... Just me...

Vestal: so what are you going to do now?

...Before them now floats a near-perfect replica of a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier... The lines, the deck, the tower, everything matches... Except for the alien glowing form the little probe that has scanned Enterprise... The faint, unnatural blue hum beneath the surface...

Vestal: It looks like you. Like your class, But... It’s not real. It’s pretending...

Enterprise: Then let’s see what it wants...

...She steps forward, the mirrored ship looming above... A hatch opens smoothly, seamlessly, inviting. Inside, darkness waits, where Enterprise is standing on top of the surface of the water that she is now seeing the steam after the transformation made it as such, where Enterprise has now made herself to have the strength to look up at the anomaly that they have found and into their attention during their patrol...

...And as for Enterprise, she has the initiative to plan to see if this is a threat that has seemingly chosen to take the form of who it has just taken the appearance of with the borrowed appearance to a “T”... The interior is vast, layered with strange glyphs and mechanical architecture. The walls hum faintly, like a sleeping beast. Enterprise’s boots clink against the floor—too smooth, too advanced...

Vestal: This place feels... so wrong... Like it’s watching us...

Enterprise: There’s something in the central chamber... What are these?

...They ended up getting on board the unidentified vessel, where they chose to hop on top of it, and they investigated what could be inside of something that could be very much confirmation that there are aliens other than the sirens...

Vestal: So this is like one of those Horror Sci-Fi movies that the others loved to watch. I wonder if this is the first time we are about to make first contact.

Enterprise Vestal...please focus up to now...

...they walked into the rooms, where they have walked all around with them now baffled by what they saw, that the ship’s insides reassemble that of the Yorktown-Class Arcraft carrier, where only three exists out there in the world...

Vestal: it is almost like yours, don’t you think Enterprise?

Enterprise: ... Almost... but let’s not keep our guard down...

...They have now slowly made their approach... The pod is massive, shaped like a jet turbine fused with a ship’s core. ..

...The air is thick with static. Strange glyphs pulse faintly along the walls... Enterprise and Vestal stand before a massive stasis pod, its design unlike anything in the Siren archives... Sleek, brutal, mechanical even...

Vestal: This isn’t Siren... No cube resonance... No organic interface... It’s... machine-born... But not ours...

Enterprise: It feels ancient... Like it’s been waiting...

The pod hisses... Steam coming out of the ventilation shafts... A couple of panels shift... A soft glow spills out, and then, with a sudden lurch, a figure tumbles forward...

Vestal: Wait—... enterprise someone’s inside that thing!

Enterprise reacts instantly, catching the unconscious girl before she hits the deck. Her body is cold, pale, laced with faint circuitry. Her hair is white as frost, her uniform on her body unfamiliar to them, stitched with alien alloys and faint cube threads...

...Inside, a figure sleeps, feminine, armored, glowing faintly with cube energy. Her body is unlike any shipgirl’s... Her face is peaceful, while she is all asleep, as Enterprise is thinking all about those very things while holding her in her arms in a ship that mimicked her appearance... Her hand twitches... There is almost no doubt, this is a Kansen, but there is no

Vestal: She’s alive... But... what is she?

Enterprise: Not Siren... Not even human, something else entirely... Something... foreign... We need to go back to the Eagle Union if we need to know more

...Suddenly, the ship pulses. A low rumble shakes the deck... The pod begins to open...

Vestal: We need to leave. Now...

Enterprise: No... We stay. She’s waking up. And I think... she’s not our enemy... not yet anyway...

Vestal: So how was she able to stay alive after all this time, though?

Enterprise: “She’s breathing. But she’s... not human... Not a shipgirl like us... So she's something else entirely..

Vestal: “Her vitals are stable. But her cube signature is... fractured... Like something was forcibly rewritten.,,

Enterprise: She fell into my arms like she knew me... Like she was... searching for something...

...The girl stirs faintly. Her lips part. A whisper escapes—broken, mechanical, lost...

Vestal: But does she have a name?... all I can see here are strange alien words and symbols, but I can’t make out anything...

...Enterprise can only nod, that she too can’t understand a word of any of the words that can be seen on the side of the ship, leaving her only able to mutter a name by subtly whispering it to her...

???: ...Broad...side...

...That left them really confused about what they had just heard from her mouth...

Vestal: That’s not a name from any registry... But a broadside is

Enterprise: Then maybe it’s hers... Whoever she was... she’s on our side now... Vestal, prepare to help me tug her back home...

...She also knew as well that this is going to be such a pain to explain on why there is a fourth Yorktown-Class Aircraft Carrier in the docks but all she can be certain of is that she cannot be in enemy hands, with this kind of technology that isn’t seen anywhere but here...

Enterprise: Stay here while I contact the Eagle union for backup...

...She left to go outside for at least for a clean radio signal, that they have found something, and technically made first contact with a seeming alien of sorts, but it isn’t time to make any decisions like that, but now is the time to see if Enterprise can be able to call for backup as she and Vestal can do what they can to tug this strange ship backEnterprise stands at the edge of the alien ship, the unconscious girl still cradled in her arms. The vessel behind her hums faintly, its mirrored Yorktown-Class form casting eerie reflections on the water. Vestal watches from the shadows, tense...

Enterprise: Alright... here goes nothing...

...She pulled out an old walkie-talkie, where she spoke into it, hoping that there was at least someone on radio duty, where there is someone from home, where she is now almost targeted by machinegun fire from above, where she fell into the water...

...Two Sakura Empire carriers approach, Akagi and Kaga. Their rigging glides like predators beneath the surface. The air thickens with tension.

Akagi: My, my... what a curious find you’ve made, Enterprise. An unregistered vessel, pulsing with unknown energy. Surely you don’t intend to keep it all to yourself?”

Enterprise: It’s not yours, Akagi. And it’s not Siren. We’re still investigating...

Akagi: Then allow us to relieve you of the burden. Hand over the ship. And everything inside...

Kaga: Resistance would be... Rather inefficient, if not foolish to challenge us!...

Vestal: They don’t know. About her...

Enterprise: Then they won’t find out...

...Akagi’s smile fades into something sharper... Her rigging flares, with her nine tails kitsune of crimson energy swirling like blades, that concentrated to her side, creating her flight deck with the matching markings, almost like that of her aircraft carrier...

Akagi: You would defy the will of the Sakura Empire? For a mere ghost ship that has piqued our interest, mind you?

Enterprise: For the unknown... For the innocent... For what’s right...

..The sea erupts. torpedo bombs streak across the sky... Enterprise launches into combat, shielding the alien vessel with her rigging...Vestal scrambles to secure the unconscious girl inside the ship’s hull, releasing her planes, as Kaga released all of hers in turn to respond in kind...

Kaga: She’s fighting harder than usual...

Akagi: She’s protecting something... Or someone...

Kaga: Then what should I do for you, dear sister?

Akagi: Then we'll have to see what she could be hiding... is it a new plaything? Or is it a new friend?

...they watched on as Enterprise had fought on with their respective fighter planes, had been flying up in the air for some time now, where she now has this one idea, this one had just popped up in her head, and therefore gave her an idea to act upon...

Akagi: Kaga... I will be the one who will play with this Grey Ghost, and as for our ghost ship? You will be the one who will have the honor of finding out who our mysterious benefactors have in store for us...

...Enterprise was then engaged in combat by Akagi, who in turn had let her younger sister Kaga to then move up ahead of her, while the only one who could defend the ship while Enterprise is already locked in combat with Akagi, so in a way she is way too preoccupied in defending it on the spot, where she found herself levitating saywards up to the air above with the intention to enter inside the Aircraft Carrier that has Ironically pays a somewhat close uncanny resemblance to that of one of the three existing Yorktown-Class Aircraft Carriers...

Vestal: N-no!...you can't come in here!...

...Of course, what could a measly little Repair Ship do against the likes of a Sakura Empire Aircraft Carrier, with the intent to under what they could form the Ship, and then saw her attempting to obtain something that could tip the scales for the tides of the war over to their favor...

Vestal; st-stay back! I'm warning you!

Kaga: Such a weak and defenseless little one ... Repair Ships like you have no place on a battlefield...

...Vestal knew that she could not fight back, aside from a Kamikaze suicidal run, where she had been backhanded off to the side, to see what she could find inside of the anomaly...

Vestal: No...

...She is unable to stop Kaga while Enterprise is still way too busy confronting Akagi, but as Kaga blows off the door to forcibly crack open a way inside the ship of unknown origins...

Kaga:...what!?

...The last thing she can hear is the sound of a vibrant humming, as if something is starting to boot up... She now realizes that she is face-to-face with a fully operational gun barrel...

??? POV:

While still in the middle of a duel to the death, Enterprise has now stopped, as Akagi seemingly does the same, where the battle has been put to a stop, where an explosion has been spotted on top of the flight deck, and that has put them to a halt, where they can see that Kaga is forced off of the side of the ship after confronting something...

Enterprise: could that be...?

...Enterprise cannot be sure of what she just saw, but Akagi knew what this might be, as from Vestal's point of view... The battle rages. Enterprise’s rigging flares with precision, intercepting Akagi’s foxfire barrage, launching out several planes skywards.... Kaga circles silently, waiting for an opening... Vestal shields the unconscious girl deep within the ship’s hull...

Vestal: Who...was that just now?

... with her seeing behind her is a girl who is looking as if she is struggling to stand up straight, leaning against the forcibly opened doorframe... A blinding plasma pulse tears through the air, striking Akagi’s rigging with pinpoint force. She staggers, tails flickering in shock...

Akagi: Who dares—...?! ... Oh, how auspicious... She woke up...

...All eyes turn. Standing atop the alien vessel’s tower, silhouetted against the moonlight, is the white-haired girl... Her arm trembles, clutching a smoking plasma pulse gun fused into her rigging... Her eyes flicker—static dancing across her pupils...

...And they can see a white-haired girl with a loose resemblance to Enterprise, with differences in her bodily features...

Enterprise: She’s awake...

Broadside: ...

...Her knees buckled under the influence of the pressure of waking up so suddenly... She collapses sideways, the weapon clattering beside her... Her breathing is shallow, her mind still lost in static...

Akagi: That... was no shipgirl... That is not from this world... So tell me, Grey Ghost, what have you found inside?

Enterprise: She’s not yours... She’s not anyone’s... And if you want her... you’ll have to go through me...

...The sea falls silent. Even Kaga hesitates. The alien ship hums beneath them, protective, alive...

Akagi: Very well, Enterprise. But this isn’t over. The Sakura Empire will not ignore such... divine anomalies... after all, she made the first shot, any more than that, then she'll take my life...

...She turns, tail curling like smoke. Kaga, who has several burns after being just barely grazed by the initial blast, is then caught by surprise now follows her sister, silent as the moon.

Akagi: Come along now, Kaga, we've come with the information that we've come for...

Kaga: Yes, Sister... This won't happen again...

...She glared at Enterprise, and then to that ship through the lenses of the Planes under her control, seeing the girl being tended to by Vestal with that gun that almost killed her from point-blank range by surprise, where they had left, knowing what could happen if they went all out, or whatever choices that she has made to open fire down upon them...

Vestal: And then what should we do now?... Enterprise?

Enterprise: we're heading back... She... We need to know more about what we can all learn about her...

...Vestal nodded as they had no other choice other than to work together in tugging this alien vessel that had copied none other than Enterprise's appearance at its own, and the same can be said for the girl who had appeared where she had still become quite the mystery up to now... As the Aircraft carrier and the Repair Boat chained up the anomalous vessel, and are now ready to return to the Eagle Union, with the voyage back going to take some time now, with the reason for them being there now in their grasp, where they started to carefully tug it back to base...

...TIMESKIP WAS BROUGHT TO YOU BY TAKAO, TRYING TO FIGHT TRYPTICON...

[A/N; Watch Godzilla '-1' to get the joke]

With the closest base aligned with the Eagle Union base sighted on the horizon with Enterprise and Vestal are returning safely after their encounter with Akagi and Kaga, who have just now found the source of the anomaly, being none other than a girl, as they stopped by the dock earlier than anticipated, during one of their daily patrols...

...The base that is aligned with of of the two major international organizations, this one is called Azur Lane, dedicated to protecting humanity... Where there are several Kansen forms, such as one called Cleveland, who is with her supposedly alleged girlfriend, who is by her side, looking at the two aircraft carriers...

... lounges near the pier, sipping soda and chatting with a few other Kansen. Then—alarms ping. A familiar silhouette approaches.

Cleveland: Hey, look who’s back! Enterprise, fresh off another patrol—wait... why are there two of her?

...The crowd gathers. Enterprise strides down the dock, her rigging slightly scorched, her expression unreadable. Cradled in her arms is Broadside—still unconscious, her white hair fluttering in the breeze. Her hull markings shimmer faintly, eerily similar to Enterprise’s.

Cleveland: Hold up... That’s not Hornet and that’s not Yorktown... That’s... a fourth one?!

...And then they are now being greeted by the one who is called the "Drydock Idol," where she ran up to seeing the confusing sight with the likes of Enterprise coming back with this as her catch...

...And she, in her time as a fellow aircraft carrier, knows, thanks to mostly just Cleveland causing quite the commotion on the docks to which piqued her Curiosity for a bit...

Saratoga: Did you happen to get a secret sister we don't know about? Is this a surprise event drop?

Enterprise: She’s not a fourth Yorktown-class carrier... And she is not like us... She came from somewhere else...

Cleveland: But she’s got the same hull lines. Same tower. Same aura. Dude, she’s like... Yorktown-class 2.0!

Enterprise: She doesn’t know... And neither do we... But she’s one of us now...

...The base falls silent... Broadside stirs faintly, her fingers twitching. Somewhere deep in her core, a memory flickers, but she drifts away back off to her slumber like before...

Cleveland: So what do we call her? Yorktown-class... Echo?

Enterprise: Broadside... That is what she called herself...

Cleveland: so what?... Is she basically like the Broadside-Class?... even though it looks a lot like you?

Enterprise: No, I don't know if that is the case... She might not be from around here...

...She looked over to the side, where she saw that there was a whole bunch of small yellow birds running all around and about with a medical stretcher in tow...

... as they could see the unconscious girl lying there, as they took her back inside one of the buildings for some medical attention...

Cleveland: So this is who you've brought back here?

Enterprise: We have encountered Akagi and Kaga from the Sakura Empire...

...She has other matters to attend to, as the girl is now being carried off back inside by them, with Enterprise sighing, she has rarely seen the root cause of the war at large, out of a little bit of wariness that this war has brought out...

???: Oh, and I thought that it'll take...totally like forever to come back home... so what's up, big sis?

Enterprise: Hornet...

Hornet: I've heard from Saratoga that there's a fourth Yorktown-class... Is this true?

... She is looking at the girl with a cape, with a bra and a pair of shorts, who just so happened to be sitting here by the hospital bed where the girl is about to be plopped down to be checked in...

...And she really cannot be sure, but to be really skeptical about what is really going on here...

Hornet: Okay, I’m officially weirded out... There were only three of us... Yorktown, Enterprise, and me... Who’re you, mystery girl? ...

...Enterprise can't really do much in protest but roll her eyes... Hornet leans against the wall, arms crossed, eyes fixed on the unconscious girl resting in the medbay beyond the glass... Broadside’s form is unmistakable—Yorktown-class silhouette, but with alien markings and a faint, occasional beep...

Hornet: Okay, sis. I need answers. Who is she? Because unless we got a surprise fourth sister, I’m seeing double here...

Enterprise: She’s not one of us... Not originally.

Hornet: Then why does she look like you? Like... exactly like your own ship, but with a sci-fi paint job?

Enterprise: We found an alien vessel.. Not Siren. Something older... Something... different... It sent out a small drone, which it suddenly scanned me, an automatic drone... And then it changed...

Hornet: Changed how? And you're scaring me!

...That made her scared of on how this could be true form what Enterprise saw back there...

Enterprise: It reshaped itself... Hull, tower, and even a complete flight deck, everything... A perfect copy of a Yorktown-class Aircraft Carrier... Except the insignias were wrong... Eagle Union replaced with a strange red crest... My serial number was overwritten. The name on the hull said ‘Broadside’...

Hornet: That’s...WAY super duper creepy... Like it was trying to become you...

Enterprise: Then we found her... Inside a stasis pod... She fell into my arms. Unconscious... No memory. But she’s not human... Not shipgirl. Something else...

Hornet: And don't tell me that based on what the radar didn't lie about-... don't tell me that, Akagi just happened to show up, didn’t she?

Enterprise: She and Kaga tracked the energy signature... Demanded we hand over the ship, and everything inside...

Hornet: Typical Akagi... Always chasing power, she doesn’t understand...

Enterprise: We fought. I held them off... But then... Broadside woke up. Just for a moment... She fired a plasma shot, nearly taking out Kaga. Akagi barely dodged...

Hornet: “She did that? While half-asleep?

Enterprise: She’s dangerous. But she’s scared. Lost... And she chose to protect me... So she must have her reasons...

Hornet: So what now? Do we train her? Adopt her? Build a fourth bunk?

Enterprise: We help her remember. And we make sure no one takes her again... I bet that Yorktown would agree, too, don't you think?

Hornet: And then so what are we gonna do now?

Enterprise: I suppose that I will have her enrolled in one of Langley's... and learn eventually what she is...

...She smiled as Enterprise had plans to get her aligned with the Eagle union, with her starting to feel as if this was an alien lifeform, and she had just made first contact...
