Saving sally

It was a cloudy and gloomy day as Sally got ready to head towards her school, she slowly opened her door and peeked out hoping everyone would still be asleep the last thing Sally wanted to do was wake up her family, Sally ran towards the school hoping to catch her best friend Ann along the way so she could try to convince her to skip school for the day. Ann was waiting by the bus stop smiling as she watched Sally approach her, she automatically knew Sally was up to something that would require her and sally's sister Lou to save Sally from some kind of messy event “Come on it's just one day” Sally pleaded As Lou slowly joined into the conversation, “I don't know sally we could get into some big trouble if we missed school” Ann replied trying to reason with Sally knowing she would lose the argument Sally put up both of her hands together as she gave both girls a sad look while attempting to make her big green eyes shed a tear, Lou and Ann both sighed and said “fine” As Sally squealed with delight when the girls finally agreed to join Sally and her adventure for the day. Lou couldn't help but chuckle as she watched her sister's brown messy hair bounced from Sally's pure excitement. All three girls headed towards the town to find something to do, yet little did they know danger lurked right around the corner. All of the girls began walking into town they loved their town it was always so full of life and everyone seemed to always be nice to them, Sally looked at her sister Lou and smiled admiring her beauty Lou had straight brown hair, her face had no flaws only a few freckles that lined her nose and she had a full set of lips Lou was only a few years older than Sally herself as Sally was 13 and Lou was 16, sometimes Sally felt jealous of her sister because she was so much more prettier than her and her plane face with freckles and messy brown hair but she still loved the way she looked all the same. Sally continued to focus on the adventure ahead of her excitement building up within her knowing they were going to have so much fun she had no clue what they should get into first. Sally then looked over at Ann and wondered how she could find such an amazing best friend, she was slightly more nerdy than the rest of them but the girls did not mind that, Ann was shorter being almost 5 foot tall and she was Sally’s age maybe a couple months older but still the same, Ann had big round glasses that sat perched on her nose and she had bright blonde hair that she always wore in a ponytail to keep the hair out of her face if you truly observed Ann she was actually a very pretty girl but she never did much with herself to show it. “So, Sally where is it you want to go?” Lou asked her sister, Sally thought for a moment thinking since it was her after all that came up with the plan “ummmmm…. how about we start by getting some ice cream” Lou smiled at her sister she knew Sally loved ice cream and should have figured that she would have wanted to get some Lou simply nodded her head and could tell that Sally was excited. They made it to the ice cream shop and ordered three different kinds walking out of the store and eating their sweet treats, Sally looked around and you could just see the idea forming in her head because she always got a certain look to her when she was about to come up with something “you know what I remember hearing about this one spot in the woods that has some sort of clearing but I heard it’s something no one has ever experienced before” Lou gave a skeptical look “I don’t know Sally I don’t think it’s a good idea” Sally got a sad look making here big eyes even bigger so she could beg and Lou signed Ann did not protest because she knew that Sally always got her way Sally smiled a bright smile as they all began to head towards the woods. They found a trail that seemed to wind in every direction, making them all tired of walking, they kept going for almost a mile when the trail stopped and they came to a clearing that was so beautiful it took their breath away there were flowers everywhere the sun shined bright and the flowers lined every inch of all sorts of colors making the clearing look more inviting than anything they have ever seen before, Lou’s eyes were wide as she could not believe Sally was telling the truth “wow” Ann said in disbelief as she began to walk into the clearing all of the girls then began to run and hop around enjoying their day and playing in the beautifully swaying flowers, Lou looked up into the sky and began to get worried “oh man we must’ve spent all day here because it’s starting to get dark out come on guys we gotta go” Lou rushed Sally and Ann out of the field and back towards the town, the walk back seemed more quieter and they managed to make it to town in less than an hour Sally smiled to herself reliving the fun they just had, once they arrived back into town everything around them seemed to be more quiet it sent a chill down Sally’s spine wondering where everyone had gone, they continued to walk trying not to pay any attention to how still the air felt Lou made Sally and Ann walk faster through the town and they almost made it out until the girls began to notice weird things happening not only was the town completely empty but it almost seemed to have changed as well everything was more fearful and they began to hear weird noises. Lou had a sense of urgency to get the others out of town and back to the safety of their home but things kept catching their attention “man what happened to everyone?” sally asked, Lou looked at her sister “I’m not sure but something doesn’t seem right let get out of here” they all agreed to leave and go home they kept their focus on the road ahead of them ignoring all the warning signs and all that was left before they were out of town was to pass an alley and as they approached it sally stopped dead in her tracks.

Sally was the first to hear the whimpering coming from down the alley, it made her stop and walk towards the noise, Lou and Ann followed close behind curious to find out where the noise was coming from “There's nothing here guys, let's go I’m getting creeped out here” Ann whispered as all three girls turned to leave but a strange figure blocked their path from getting through. The lanky figure was covered in a cloak that was so dark it hid who the figure was, all three girls were frozen in fear as the figure just stood in their pathway “One is chosen, one is doomed, and one is the savior, choose your paths wisely” Just as fast as the words came from the figure it disappeared at the same time. Lou, Ann, and sally were confused “Who was that and what do you think it meant” Lou asked to no one, “not sure but let's get out of here before something else happens” Ann stated as all the girls took off in a Sprint towards Sally and Lou’s house; All the girls knew that the house would be empty so they wouldn't be caught skipping school. A shiver ran down sally’s spine as she entered her room and seen it completely destroyed “oh man what happened here?” Lou questioned, “no clue but it looks like someone was looking for something” Sally replied; as the girls began cleaning the mess they ended up forgetting about the figure in the alley, once the room was cleaned up all of the girls went their separate ways, Sally laid on her bed worn out from the day and soon enough she fell into a deep slumber.

A dark tunnel was all Sally could see as she tried to escape the dark figure that was watching her from afar, yet she was not moving at all; “little Sally you have been chosen” was all that was said before a skinny pale hand reached towards her, Sally tried to escape but couldn’t she also couldn’t speak, “it’s no use Sally, you must be careful of who you trust and what you do because you are in danger” was the last thing

Sally heard before she woke up drenched in a cold sticky sweat
