After leaving drew's place I took a cab home... But not mine but to the Watsons villa

The ride didn't took much time as I was about to ring the door bell someone hugged me from behind

My hands gripped his shirt. Pulling him impossiblely closer The scent of coffee, and him filled the air. His mouth lingered a little too long before he finally pulled back.

We ate some snacks and then he dropped me off
Before I could get out of the car, Keifer caught my wrist.
“Next time, call me before you wander off,” he said. The warning was wrapped in concern, not authority.
I met his eyes. “You’d still scold me for it.”
He sighed through a small smile. “Probably.” His thumb brushed the inside of my wrist, slow enough to make my pulse skip. “But at least I’d know you’re safe.”
“Kuya will flip again if I’m late,” I muttered.
“Let him,” Keifer said quietly. “I’ll take the blame.”
The words hung between us, heavier than the night. The car smelled faintly of coffee and rain. I could see the reflection of the villa lights in his eyes, steady and unreadable.
“I meant what I said,” he added. “About loving you.”
My throat tightened. “I know.”
He leaned forward until our foreheads touched. “Go before I change my mind and keep you here.”
“Don’t tempt me,” I whispered, half-smiling.
I stepped out of the car
He released me slowly. I stepped out, the cool air hitting my face. As I closed the door,
