“Good morning Pradeep , can you please send me 10000, my daughter is sick and need some money urgently for the treatment. I will pay you back by next month”
This was the message received by Mohan early morning by an unknown sender.
“Who is this ? am not Pradeep.” Replies Mohan
“Ohh.. sorry, wrong number!!!!”
“Its okay , If you don’t mind, can I still send you the amount, I wanted to donate some money this month for a good cause for any needy”
“Can I call you??”
“Yess sure”
“Hello… This is Anitha, may I know who is this ?”
“Hi, Am Mohan…”
“oh Thank you Mohan for asking for help, but I don’t feel its right to take money from you”
“No problem, if you are so uncomfortable, return it whenever possible !!!”
“Aaahh…. But I really don’t know anything about you, I will check with someone else. I called you as you were ready to immediately help some total stranger.”
“So, you are hesitant , because you don’t know me, don’t worry. Am Vice president of Arun Groups. You can search Mohan Das in Google, and will see my profile in LinkedIn and various other pages.So am not a person who scams people”
“No , no don’t mistake. Ok fine, Thanks a lot Sir. This is my Gpay number and you can send to this number. I will surely pay you back”
“Ok, cool !! I will do now.”
“Thanks a ton !!! Bye sir.”
Mohan immediately sends the money, but he was not able to forget her voice.. It was so soothing. But he thinks it is wrong to further develop any feelings as she is married.
After 3 weeks, Anitha calls him back for thanking Mohan for his help.
“Hello Sir, This is Anitha, I have just sent you the money back.”
“You can call me Mohan, Hope your daughter is well now”
“Yes , she is fine, and I needed one more help if you don’t mind”
“Yes , tell me Anitha”
“Sir, can you help me with Job ? does your company has any opening for Business analyst.??”
“Oh, great ! we indeed have a opening. Please send me your resume to [email protected]
“Thank you, thank you so much sir !!! you are God send to me”
“No, no , I haven’t done anything so praise worthy. Please do well in interview so the team selects you “
“Yes Sir sure. “
“Can I ask you something?”
“Yes”
“What does you husband do ? Is he not working?”
“Aaah… he passed away 4 years back, I was working in some other company post that, but recently lost that job”
“Am really Sorry Anitha. Hope you get this job and will be able to meet you in my office”
“Sure sir, I will work really hard” They disconnect the call, but Mohan really feel very bad for her
Anitha, attends the interview and gets selected to the job. Once she receives the offer letter she texts Mohan about that , thanking him.
Mohan asks to meet him on the day of her joining which she agrees to.
Anitha meets Mohan, and slowly from that day onwards, their relationship turns into beautiful friendship and it grows deeply into love.
One day Mohan took courage to propose and she happily agrees. Her daughter in boarding school accepts the relationship and Mohan and Anitha gets married.
4 year passes and now they have a 6 month old. But one day he suddenly passes away and everyone get so shocked.
One day his neighbor Manoj gets message early morning.
“Good morning Pradeep , can you come with me to hospital to accompany, my daughter is sick and I need some help.”
“Who is this ? am not Pradeep.” Replies Manoj.
“Ohh this is Manoj right, am Anitha. Sorry sent message by mistake.”
