"I love the book the plots are good and since the author said there's no cheating I'm in and I love the way they treat her with so much care and specially Kaden I just love it I wish there would be more spicy chapters the book so far is great "
First thoughts
"12 chapters in, my thoughts so far. This is presented as a mafia story with a runaway bride, a replacement servant, and three grooms who are brothers. If this were a werewolf story I could accept multiple mates, but in the human world...not so much. The intended bride ran away rather than marry them, the servant was placed in her spot by threat of gang rape. For some reason the daughter had a change of heart at exactly the wrong time and ended up destroying her family. A point here, the indication was the father couldn't spend the time to find his daughter so he inserted the servant in her place. Yet the daughter showed up immediately which disproves that supposition. The Servant is the one who got abused the most here, we can just start to see her assert herself but I bet it takes time. She had the ability to affect her outcome at multiple times but never defends herself. I suppose her upbringing attributed to part of that, plus the punishment for disobeying during her life helps. When authors write mafia stories they tend to focus on the brutality rather than the upbringing that brought them to this point. I've read mafia stories that were polar opposites of this trend so I tend to hope others follow this path. Brutal when necessary but family above all, those are attributes I like most in stories. The three brothers don't seem to follow this path, so I'm not sure if I will continue. I'll give it another 30 chapters to see what happens and revisit the review at that point. "
