A beautiful take on what happens after 'the end'
"Please do not mind that it says I haven't read enough chapters - I had the absolute delight of being able to read a majority of these chapters as a beta reader, and they still sweep me away upon rereading them here on Inkitt. Ember has taken Egyptian mythology and blended them beautifully with the question of: "what happens to the essence of us after death?" Neith is refreshing with her wit and commentary and the emotions she must struggle to let go of. Sazriel is the most compelling god I would ever get down on my knees for, I mean ... his tension and his standoffish ways are compelling and become even more so when that hard exterior begins to melt for her. Absolutely adore where this story is going and can't wait to read more!"
