Luna Wren wasn’t looking for magic; she was just looking for a quiet corner to escape the noise of the world. Her school library was her favorite hiding spot. But one stormy afternoon, while tracing the dusty spines of old books, her hand brushed against a shelf that… moved.
A thin golden light leaked from behind it. Curious, she pushed — and the shelf slid aside like it had been waiting. A small wooden door appeared, carved with strange swirling symbols that looked half like stars, half like handwriting.
Above it, letters shimmered:
