I love it!
"I just binged this book in less then three days (might have been two but definitely 23 chapters in a day) and I loved every bit of it. It was so hard to put down and never read sci fi books before this but I really loved it! Korath is in fact a Commander through and through but I love the way he is so self aware about the Maren but honest nonetheless. Maren is so independent and strong willed. I love that she always seemed one step ahead of everyone when it mattered most. Both characters made this book easy to love and easy to not put down. Together they stronger and I love the wholehearted trust they build between each other. Hopefully this becomes a series to see how they breed and become a civilized society worldwide and how all of that would work with freedom ringing at some point. If you come across this book, read it because this is the second book of hers I’ve read and that one was amazing too!!!"

"I really enjoyed this story...suspense, hate and love, just the right amount of sexy scenes, less is often more and reading is best left to the imagination. This book would be perfect for someone who loves dramatic Sci-Fi. I will certainly read some of your other books. Thanks. "

"I really enjoyed this story of survival after being overtaken by alien invaders. How to make the best of a new situation that is beyond the characters control. Loved the humor that finds its way into uncomfortable situations. Believable characters that take us on a journey through difficult situations. I can see this story expanding to include more about some of the secondary characters and their point of view of what is happening between the main characters. Great writing and very well edited. Thanks for the journey! "

The Language of Resistance
"I found this story on the Inkitt Sci-fi writing contest site. I cannot say how very addictive this author's writing style becomes the more time spent within the chapters. I have not found a more appealingly virile, alpha male character than Korath. I was instantly drawn to his strength, abilities and surprisingly 'human' traits. I had a more difficult time with our protagonist. Although, the interaction between the human female and alien 'Commander' was immediately established by the author. The 'bond' grew slowly, naturally, into a warm, genuine attraction that held firm from first meeting to lasting bond. I so enjoyed meeting, walking alongside these two phenomenal characters. It's not often I am this enthralled with another writer's efforts, for I am vain and very hard to please. I cannot say enough about how engaging a story this turned out to be. I read it straight through...with only a cup of coffee and ding dong for company and didn't even notice I hadn't eaten dinner until late at night. And still, I had to review before seeking out nourishment for this writer deserves my praises and support. An engrossing, completely brilliant tale about forbidden love, an exquisite slow burn that finally erupts into a sensual, erotic passion...a timeless love story forged in the stars. A slow start but damned well worth the wait. I'm so happy I stuck with the writer's vision. Could not be more thrilled with the outcome."
