"Migraine: The Journal of a Suicidal Cook proves to be quite a wiley manifesto with particular relevance in a world that seems determined to off itself. Simple exposure to the prose, itself, is sure to breed anti-heroes like the titular Cook, who takes us on a horrifically poignant adventure of mind and body; one that stretches beyond imagination, into the depths of our carnal soul cavities; one that will literally corrode the reader's sense of truth, wisdom, and light. In other words, this novel changes the reader upon reading it. It reverberates in the minds of those that find themselves traversing its surrealistic, concocted terrain by denying passivity. It snatches from the reader, taking the parts that are false, oblivious, and reasoning, then filling those voids with a blend of nihilism and creative contagions. It wants audiences to hate it for being right, while simultaneously challenging them to like it for hating them. The author manages to transcend genre conventions by creating a work that lives outside of itself; by constructing a tale of self-degradation, paired with extreme external manipulates. The prose is both unashamed and confoundingly sane. If you want to read a novel that will haunt you for the rest of your days; one that will speak softly to your core, while covertly removing your genitals; one that sticks in your craw, while liquefying your brain, to better feed it back to you; then Migraine: The Journal of a Suicidal Cook can't be missed."

"This thing flowed. It seemed like poetry but with porn. I have immense ADHD and sitting down and reading is next to a nightmare for me. This was the hardest easy read...ever."

"It's hard to read the thoughts of a crazy person. The character is engaging and I am interested in the world that has been created, but I find it sometimes hard to follow."
