Chapter 1
I'm Sharon , an astrophysicist who spent her whole life studying objects in space. The identifiable ones, unidentified ones I had to identify and that would be my bonus. I am a particularly curious woman, curious about everything humans, animals, plants, mating cultures, and ofcourse other kind of creatures, creatures not from this planet. I've always wondered if that's a possibility, I mean I know it's a possibility but will I ever get to meet one of them?
One night I had just finished a book , a not so innocent one, while I was waiting for a lab result. As much as I love space, I have a major in biology too. I was trying to mutate the genes of humans and various species. That includes reptiles, other mammals, birds..etc.
This time it was that of a snakes'. I was curious about how this would turn out. I think I fell asleep on my chair coz I got consciousness to the sound of glass breaking. I look around and the window at the other end of the room shone with exceptionally bright light, as I can see the power went off and is making it hard to look at the window. I started marching down the stairs in my stilleto heels and I tripped down the last set of stairs. By the time I came to my senses I opened my eyes to the weirdest thing. I saw two puddles of slimy flesh like creatures getting out of what seemed like a UFO. I think I hit my head too hard. The puddles move across me like they can't even sense that I'm there. They Look like pinkish red balls of slime with a hint of life in them, a weird and horrifying scene to witness. The moved directly to the conical flasks in chemicals are kept,which are used to dismantle and prepare DNA to study the gene structures, mutation possibilities, etc.. . I could do nothing but see what was about to happen. As I mentioned earlier I'm one curious human. They reached for the flasks and spilled the chemicals on themselves and started to jiggle. I can only anticipate that they were panicking from the sudden sensation on their.. skin? I dragged my body with my hands and moved towards the staircase wall,leaning against it. I can see the blobs changing colours as one became a midnight blue shade and another a sap green colour. As if they didn't look disgusting enough. Next they headed towards the processing unit where the DNA of the serpent and human were being combined. I couldn't let my hard work go to waste so I stood up with all my strength left and screamed stop!. It's as if sound waves aren't effective on them. They went to the room, I couldn't bring myself to move anymore, as if I was paralyzed all of a sudden.
I heard weird sploshing noises for a while and "boom!" Something exploded. Deafening sound and then deafening silence. I slowly opened my eyes, got up and started to limp towards the processing room, only to sense movement inside. I froze. Something was crawling inside.
A dark long haired, blue skinned man...wait! It's a man but he has a slit in his amber pupils and scales on his arms. He was atleast 7 foot tall and magnificent. Another silhouette appeared behind him. He had sap green skin like one of the blobs and also had scales on his body. He was a bit taller than the blue fellow and had red pupils with a black slit and brownish hair.
Oh my god! These aliens, they've mutated and the man-serpent DNA had mutated into their genes! Also they're completely naked! But they don't seem to have you know... Their genitals. Except they had extra sharp scales. Okay ... What's the use if they can't you know..do the deed?
