Chapter 1 whispers in the night
I walked slowly through the corridors, my heels clicking on the wooden floors. A shiver ran down my spine, but it wasn’t just the cold: I felt a strange, irresistible pull, as if the house knew something about me.
And then I saw him.
He was standing in the shadows, his eyes dark and deep as the night. A faint smile on his lips, promising both pain and desire. Every step I took toward him seemed to send me into a vortex from which I could never escape.
“You shouldn’t be here,” he whispered, his voice a mixture of threat and caress.
I nodded, unable to speak. Yet I didn’t want to run away.
The night was ours, and I was about to learn that some fears... are irresistible.
