How it happened
It all happened on a day that I thought was normal.
I came home after a long day at work wondering what Jay made for food when I should have really wondered what I would see walking through my door. Shoes that weren't mine and a coat that looked like someone's but I couldn't for the life of me remember who the owner was.
Silently closing the door hoping it was completely innocent but my gut was telling me it would be life changing, listening to a sound I never hopped I would here with only two of us living in the flat. All I could think was 'please let it be his brother, please let it be his brother.' Slowly walking up to the bedroom door sadly the bed was in a position where I could see everything but sadly they were in a position where they couldn't see me. As in the room was Jay laying on our bed with a woman straddling him. She had long blonde hair down to the half of her back but what stood out most was the birthmark on her shoulder.
That's when everything clicked into place the shoes, and the coat they were his sister's stuff. I didn't know if it was to be discusted or ashamed of what I was watching.
With tears in my eyes I grabbed my phone and opened up my messages there I found her husband, I never thought I would see the day I would need him today. I always knew they were a close family but this was disgusting all I could think of was what is he going to think and I hope he answers soon as I don't want to be here when they stop.
Finally he answers but because of the position of the camera he didn't make a sound but you could physically see the colour draining from his face. It seemed like hours went by when in fact it was mere minutes but he signalled for me to leave. So I slowly moved away from the bedroom door towards the front door, and slowly opened it slipping through a slight gap before closing it again quietly.
After getting into my car I finally turned the camera around and what I saw was someone that couldn't possibly be me because of the red puffy eyes and cheeks it looked as if I was looking on the outside of someone that had their hearts ground to dust.
"Sky how long have you known?" Nick asked.
"I've just found out about it myself Nick!" was my response.
"We need to find out Sky!" he replied
All I could think was I can't and you can't ask me to go back inside just to find out. It broke my heart once twice would completely destroy what I have left. That was until he said "We need to know if this was the plan for the start or if it has only just happened!!"
When he said that it completely destroyed what I had left. "How do we find that information out Nick?" I asked in a shaky voice. "Easy we play them at their own game Sky." I couldn't listen to it anymore so I hung up the phone and pressed start for the engine and slowly drove away.
After driving for 15 minutes I pulled up to my best friend Kiara's home but Nick must have known that would have been where I went because just as I wiped my face and looked out of the window ready to get out of the car there he was just about to knock on my window. He must have seen it in my eyes so he opened my door and grabbed my hand to help me out.
"I thought you might have come here Sky." he said.
"How do you know Kiara's address Nick?" I asked.
"It was easy we all went to school together may have been different years but you never lost touch with her." he said.
"Come on lets get you to her because if you are feeling anything like I am then you are going to need her for what we have to do next, and don't worry Tyler is on his way to help as well."
We walked up to the underground elevator together with him pale and me shaking with red eyes. God we must really look like a pair. Pressing the floor to Kiara’s place hoping she was home but also hoping he was out because I know if I see her I will break all over again.
We finally reach the floor get out of the elevator walk up to her door I knock once and listen quietly waiting for her footsteps towards the door but hear nothing so I reach for the plant by the side of the door thankful that she wasn’t in but knew that she saw me through her doorbell so I know that she wouldn’t be far away.
I went straight to the kitchen put the kettle on and pulled out 4 mugs ready for everyone to show up I turned to Nick and said “I don’t know how long Tyler is going to be but Kiara isn’t going to be long and I don’t know how you both take your coffee.”
He walked up and said “Sky go and sit down I’ll make them it’s fine.”
“I need to do something normal or I will break Nick so don’t just don’t.” I said gripping the sides just to ground me.
All of a sudden a tissue is in front of me and he says “okay I’ll make mine and Tyler’s coffee.”
We hear the door opening and Kiara and Tyler walk through talking. “I know you know what’s going on so you better start talking Tyler!” Kiara says
“You will to if you just hurry up and find them.” Tyler says
“They are here now but why?” Kiara says just as she walks into the kitchen and sees us both. One look at me and she runs up to hug me saying “what is going on you look a mess babe.”
“Well walking into something as discusting as what she showed me will do that to you Kiara.” Nick says while he stabs the coffee with a spoon.
That was my pushing point I ripped myself away from Kiara and ran to the sink and everything I had came back up. She came over looking confused at us both and rubbed my back telling me it’s all going to be okay.
We all knew it wasn’t not after what I saw, after swilling my mouth out with a glass of water I walked back over and machanically started making the coffee I could hear them whispering about me but I couldn’t get bothered to do anything until I sat down

They all come and join me but no one speaks not until I turn to Nick "what did you mean back there before I hung up on you?"
"How long do you think this has been going on because I don't think this has only just happened, do you?" Nick claims.
"Okay, what is going on with you both you look like hell and I can't remember ever telling you and Tyler where i live Nick?" Kiara shouts.
I look at Nick and he must see it on my face that I just haven't got it in me to tell them so he says "Sky video called me about 30 minutes ago and when I answered I couldn't believe what I was see, at first I thought it was a simple misdial as we aren't really that close that was until I really looked and I saw my wife's birthmark on the shoulder of someone riding another man, I looked even closer and what I saw nearly made me sick!"
"What did you see?" Tyler asked.
"I saw that the man underneath Amy was in fact Jay!" he says.
I look up to see their reactions and they both look horrified by what Nick said. "You don't mean her Jay right?" Tyler asks while pointing at me. I don't say anything but I do nod at him.
They both look at us shell shocked and Kiara looks like she is going to be sick. "You mean Amy is sleeping with her brother, like her brother or am I getting this wrong?" Kiara exclaims.
This time both me and Nick look up and nod at them. "Isn't that illegal?" Kiara asks looking at Tyler which he nods and claims "yeah it's incest."
That's when they both were about to pick up their phones. don't ask me what they were doing because at this point I started to shutdown inturnally.
