Part 1 (I)

The rain had been falling for hours. It wasn’t a soft drizzle but a heavy, endless storm that made the night feel alive. The kind of rain that made the world outside vanish — and made bad decisions sound like good fun. It was Alex who recommended a horror movie to watch in the middle of the night at his house. We were having a sleepover. Alex parents are having an overseas business trip and we got to sleepover here as it is the school holidays.

Our friend group is quite big as it consists of 5people. Let me introduce them. Alex : A very brave but not so smart guy. Kayla : She is beautiful, smart kind and timid. Zayn : A tall handsome guy and he is so smart. Zara : She is Zayn’s twin and she is smart too but she asks too many questions. And lastly there’s me, Maya : Everyone say I act very boyish but deep inside I am very girlish. I’m not that smart and I don’t care. Well let’s go back to the story since I set the context already.

The movie is nothing but just scary jumpscares popping out of nowhere. Kayla was so scared she hugged my arm so tightly that right now my arm is numb. When we all finally decided it was time to sleep - Half past one am - we got in the guests rooms that were separated by genders.

Alex told us that tomorrow night we are going to have an adventure to a place he really wants us to see in his neighbourhood. In my mind I thought of beautiful blooming flowers in a humongous garden. I guess we have to wait till tomorrow night to know where we are going..
