Preface

Preface

When the stars were dimmed by the burning of the Towers of Concord the whole world fell into silence. The tethering had finally unravelled, and along with it the control that had once bound every living thing. For the first time ever, the crystals began to sing. It was both terrible but also beautiful in a way. The Concord begged for help from a long silent Mandate but the Aeons did not answer. In the chaotic years after the fall many towns and cities would fall to storms of uncontrolled magic. Mountains bled. Rivers froze. The air itself shivered with uncontrolled power. Those who survived these treacherous times came to call them The Era Of Unbinding.

After this time I began to compile information and learn the lost ways of magic. I have in many situations been credited as the one who began to reintroduce magic back into the world. From the information I have gathered I made this book. This codex shows and warns of the wonders of magic and the terrible dangers that come along with it.

May the reader remember,

That every spark of magic is a memory,

A memory of the good, great and evil.

And a reminder.
