Overcoming Challenges

Belief is the key to success. Whenever you face a problem, stop running away from it and get ready to face that battle. Take a paper and write down the problem or challenge you faced, and try to find a solution for it. When you write down a challenge, you have already solved half of your challenges; no matter what it is, it might be in your academics, projects, or competitions. Facing them is way better than running away from them.

I'll explain through one example: when you see a running race and the racers, the one who is back from all the racers won't think that he is back from all the other racers and won't leave the track. Instead, he tries very hard. He won't focus on winning or losing; he just focuses on the race. Even this example applies to our lives. Winning and losing are secondary. First, focus on the process and don't lose your faith. Make sure you won't come back from the track like a loser. Your journey should be an example of success.

And there is one more thing—even newborn babies often fall when they try to walk, but they'll get a time when they won't fall. Instead, they run and walk. Believe in yourself. You will get those days where your success makes everyone astonished—those who didn't believe in you, cracked jokes on you. If she can win and he can win, why can't you? Just have faith. Losers run away, but achievers do not.

Remember, many great scientists, such as Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, and Newton, among others, have experienced numerous failures—not just one or two, but many. You don't have to be a perfect scorer or achiever; you should just enjoy the journey and things that you like to do. It's you vs you. You are the hero and villain in your story, good vs evil. There is no substitute for hard work. Today might be a tough day, and so might tomorrow, but not every day. Each day is like a test for you; you should be the winning person in it.

When you're focused on something, focus only on it; stop thinking about other things. Stop giving excuses and start the progress. Just trust God's path and move forward. Move one foot forward and leave it to God; he'll push you forward even if you don't want it. He will take care of everything. You should just come out of your comfort zone.
